Please Share Ideas!!

I have created two really cool surprises for my 7DS and 9DD, however, I am having so much trouble with my 11DD.

For my 7DS I have created a Pirate Theme Box with all the wonderful items here on the boards - thanks to Mel for the Pirate Certificate. I have found all kinds of "Pirate" items off of Ebay, Disney Store, etc. and the box looks great. I'm going to give this to him before he does the Pirate Make Over.

For my 9DD I have created a Tink/Princess Box again with all the wonderful items from jtanddolly. I included a Wand, her dress and all things princess. It is really cute. She will receive this before she does BBB.

Now please share ideas for my 11DD. She has decided to do the Pirate Make Over too because she thought BBB was too "little". I made the same printable items as my son - Pirate Certificate, Loot Card, etc. However, I have no idea what little extras to place inside to make it "Equal" yet fit her.: I just don't think she is going to want a sword, eye patch, telescope, etc.

PLEASE SHARE SOME IDEAS. I don't want her to fill left out. What is there at Disney for her age group? I thought with all the "Creative Projects" on this thread you guys would be the best to give advice.

If you live near a party city or zurchers they have great stuff, and if nothing else, may give you some ideas.

What about like braid or bead making? or beads in braids?

Could you find any necklaces that are "pirate-y?". I am making some as FE gifts for our cruise using ball chain and a guitar pick. I will use resin to attach a pirate picture (feminine for the girls, and masculine for the guys)

Maybe some kind if cool baubles like that?

One of the wonderful DISigners on here did create me a really cute pirate shirt for her to wear. They also did one for me DS and other DD. I just found a really cute Tink Necklace for my princess box and I'm going to look for something pirate or at least more grown up for my older DD. We are going to Atlanta today so maybe I will be able to find somethings.

Please keep posting ideas. They are really helpful!

Here is another idea
I'm not sure where you are staying?
You would have to pre-book this but many resorts offer it.

Buy a small manicure set and some nail polish, pretty hand towel , foot cream,buff puff ball and include this coupon,,


Just an idea-I plan on trying it with GD Hannah next Christmas.

I am going to make the spa basket or bag at home and then book a manicure or pedicure at Saratoga Springs or the Grand Floridian. I am told each runs about 30.00 for kids 14 and under.
I am going to double check my info this March Break trip.

I don't know if this would turn out the way I'm picturing it in my head ... Anyway, how about purchasing an eye patch from Party City and putting some "bling" on it using glitter and rhinestones. I know my dd is 10 and she loves anything that sparkles. There is a disign in someones photobucket that is a pirate mickey head with the eye patch made of rhinestones that would look really cute with it.

Hi, as for Basin White, I did shop there, but I didn't do the "make your own basket" - I do know they offer it, just not sure how much it is - you can contact them to find out:

As for the pick a pearl in japan - I did this and it was $15.96 to pick the pearl - then IF you want - they do have settings, etc.... which are extra - I had mine put into a silver "cage" pendant which goes on my chain, I didn't purchase the chain as I had it at home, but the "cage" was around $30 or so, I believe the TOTAL to pick the pearl and the pendant was around $45. Again, You don't have to do anything with it, they will put it in a box with a certificate for you. It's fun - I think your DD would enjoy it. You can check out the settings first and decide if you want one or not before you start, but there is NO pressure to get a setting or anything.
