Sci-Fi dinner theatre is a fun choice for our family. I guess by now you know that you sit in CONVERTABLES ;) and watch the sci-fi show on the movie screen at the front of the drive-in. The food is pretty good, but that's just a little bonus to the fun atmosphere.

Le Cellier is very nice, great food. Pricey, but highly recommended.

We ate at Hollywood & Vine for the first time this past year. That's the buffet right? If so, the food was ok, the waiter was great, but we thought it was a little expensive for not having any fabulous decor theme.

MGM:
- Sci-Fi Dine In (lunch) Ate there at lunch good but very dark and the burgers are huge!!

Epcot:
- Le Cellier (dinner) YUMMY!
- Cantina de San Angel (nachos & Margarita's)
DTD:
We did Rainforest here and got in really fast when it looked as if it would take forever!

AK:
- Rainforest Cafe--LOUD!

Others:
- Hoope-Dee-Do Revue-Great choice!
- Kona Cafe (breakfast) Loved it for dinner, one of my favorite places!-
ESPN Club
- Whispering Canyon- A fun place, not my favorite food (bbq style) but fun atmoshere...and hey you are in the Wilderness (can't beat that)

Everything looks gr8 except maybe L'originale Alfredo..I am not sure- never ate their because we heard some mixed reviews plus we are from nyc and have some of the best italian food around. If u have some good Italian food in your area then it might be a let down..if not try it.

There are some other intersting epcot options:biergarten, rose n crown, san angel inn bistro de france?????

Thanks to all of you for your comments. I am glad to see that I have made some good decisions. Of course, I am still at a loss on where to eat in MK.

Looks like a good list to me, let's see....

Sci-Fi Dine In - We love this place, lunch or dinner. Must do for us, sometimes twice.

L'Orignale Alfredo di Roma - this is a must do every trip. It can get a little crowded (they make use of the space), but worth it every time.

Rainforest Cafe- yep it's loud. The food was ok. I think I'd go again for the atmosphere tho, it's an attraction in itself, check out the walls.

Can't believe it myself, but those are the only ones I have been to on your list. Go get em!

:moped: we are considering the Sci-Fi Dine In too :3dglasses --Dh loves classic cars, :cool1: and we were teens at the last of the drive in days. :love2: I heard the food was just okay, but for the special atmosphere, I thought it to be a great idea. Any one else with advise on this? Is it better , or no matter, lunch or dinner? :moped:

Not sure what you're looking for at MK, but a few suggestions:

If you have little ones in tow, Crystal Palace has a character buffet for B,L,D.

If it's older kids, or just adults the Plaza Restaurant has delicious (humungous) sandwiches and sundaes.

If you're like me - and plan to stay in MK all day - get your hand stamped and go to Kona Cafe for an early supper or late lunch. It's a nice break from the park (and you can have a couple of drinks!). If you have your heart set on Kona for breakfast one day, then you could ride the monorail to GF and do the GF Cafe for lunch, also a nice place (really tasty club sandwich there).

All your other picks look good! I'm glad to see you're planning on places to snack, as well as sit-downs. The snacking can be fun!
