We have never been to The 50's Prime Time Cafe in MGM and we would like to try it this year. Our family consists of DH, myself (wife and mom) and 2 DD's ages 6 and 13 months.

We want to eat here for dinner and I would like to know what you all think of this restaurant. If you would please post and let me know I would appreciate it - Thanks!!!!

Our family enjoys going there. Besides having good food, the atmosphere is great! I think it's one of the most fun restaurants at Disney. Remember to eat your veggies and keep your elbows off the table! ;)

We had a great meal recently, the pot roast was excellent.
Along with eating your veggies and keeping you elbows off the table make sure you recall the color of the hand soap in the washroom cuz "Mom" may ask.

Hi,

Great place!! Lots of fun!!!! Remember to try & clean your plate & mind your table mannors. Try not to be offended it's surposed to be fun!! Have a good time & report back! Oh I had the fried chicken, very good.

UMMMMM UMMMMM GOOD! I had the pot roast, too!!! Great food, great atmosphere!!! Going back for more!! :hyper:

To another your experience at PTC will be greatly effected by server CM.We have dined at PTC several times and the food was always good and huge portions. The CM server you have if really into role and kids with you alot makes the dining experience for us.If you don't like interaction with server at your meal like eat all your veggie's,keep your elbows off the table, etc this may not be the place for you.Being a Hoosier,we give as good as we take so we joke and have a good time and have a good time bantering with server.::yes:: :wave2:

Keep this reservation!

The peanut butter and Jelly Milkshake is great! It is enough for 2 easily! I enjoy their meatloaf and the fried chicken was enjoyed by my father in-law. Desserts look tempting but I'm able to say no since the food was so good. Oh, we had onion rings one time and they were outstanding!!!

Enjoy!

I don't know if we love the Prime Time more for the food or for the fun!!! We have always had really great servers. Very into the guest interaction!! I love the meatloaf and DH gets the pot roast. Very good and very filling!! The S'more dessert is the best!!! They offer drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) with "electric ice cubes". They are really cool and you get to take them home!! (The ice cubes, not the drinks!) You will love the Prime Time!!

The fried chicken here is the best we've ever had!!! Have fun!!!

We ate here in March, close to closing and our waiter did nothing! Nothing at all, it was like eating at regular restaurant off property. Maybe someone can give you the name of a good Aunt or Uncle or cousin. And unfortunetly I can't remember our bad one. He was a waiter, nothing more. Not even a keep your elbows off the table. The food was good though.

We've had good and bad 'waiters'. Cousin Chris was a hoot and a half!!! Did the whole schtick. Elbows, veggies, restroom soap color, sang songs of his making, made 'funny' remarks to the video camera. The food was terrific also. I always have the pot roast. We had a waitress on our trip last August who was just okay. She made us quite late for Fantasmic. We had plenty of time to spare but she sure took her sweet time in serving and such. We told her we needed to be a little quicker but didn't seem to matter. Also, dh had the steak. He won't do that again. The pot roast, fried chicken, meat loaf.....all yummy!!! Stick with those entrees.

I went for the first time for lunch last October. We had cousin Meesha as our server. We had a PS for 11:30, opening time, and were about the 5th party seated. There is a very nice bar in the waiting area if you care for a cocktail while you are waiting. There are kitchy paraphernalia EVERYWHERE, and it is fun to look at while you are waiting for your drinks, food, etc.

I had the turkey sandwich and substituted crinkle fries for the chips. It was HUGE- thick stacks of turkey and the fries were perfectly cooked. My mom had the pot roast, and she declared it so good she wanted to lick the plate clean. Service was friendly and fast- not over the top at all, but that may have been because we were there early in the day and the restaurant was not full. We shared a s'mores for dessert and it was so, SO good!

I would definitely go back; I think my kids would love it!

We love it here!! The food and the fun!!! DH loves the pot roast and for me the chicken pot pie is the best that I have ever had! The smore's are AWESOME!!!

During our last visit we had a great server! He put a line of ketchup across the table where DS (11) kept putting his elbows, then he tried to get DS to eat his pickle (he hates them!!) The server even used a choo-choo wistle while trying to feed him his pickle. When that failed, he went over to another table and had this adorable girl (15) come over and sit next to DS (he is totally blushing at this point) and told him that girls like boys that eat their pickles. He still didn't eat the pickle but it was a good try!!

We can't wait to take my mom and dad and aunt and uncle there in November!!!

Sorry, but I cannot remember our servers name....

Have a great time!!!

We have always loved Prime Time. On our most recent trips we have not always had really interactive waiters, but the experience is always great!!! The food selections are home cooking meals but the shakes and desserts are delicious.

We really enjoyed it! I LOVED the fried chicken, the portions are HUGE! I would def share an entree, so you dont waste tons of food.

Its hit or miss on servers, but I think its worth a shot =) If anything, the atmosphere is cool and the food is good.

Don't even think about leaving any food in your plate.

Covering it with your napkin won't work either.

If you go to the restroom be sure to wash your hands, Mom will know!!

but after reading so many posts about how much fun it is,I made PS's for our trip! Now we can't wait!!

This is one of my must dine places at WDW. The food is great and so are the cast members.

Definitely one of our favorites!!!! :teeth:

My DH is addicted to their PBJ milkshakes :o
