Please return your completed Census Form

Why did you get a letter telling you that your Census form was coming? Why did you get a post card reminding you to return your Census form?

Baltimore City will receive $2,500 for every completed Census form that is returned. This is a lot of missed revenue.

Don't you want you county to receive their funds too? I certainly do.

I personally know of somebody that just received their form last Saturday, March 27th; so they are still being delivered.

If you need a 2010 Census form because yours was lost, damaged, or never received, please contact the Telephone Questionnaire Assistance center after April 12th at 1-866-872-6868 to request one.

The thing I find strange is that they are asking people to return them already but they ask for data as of April 1, 2010.

Since no one can predict the future you really can't send it back before then. If it was filled out and mailed back yesterday and someone in the house dies in a car accident or other tragedy today the data is inaccurate.

This wouldn't be missed revenue. It would be a lost transfer of wealth to Baltimore City.

We've received enough for all of you-6 so far and all in our names. 5 have been thrown in the garbage. Leave it to the Feds to screw up something that should be simple. Can't wait to see their health care.

Good point, at least I like it... I'm using it to justify why mine was still buried in a pile of junk mail.

My kids were making similar comments as I was filling ours out tonight, except they were concerned about people who are actually released from prison on April 1st being counted in the right place.

The sad thing is, that since you threw the extras in the trash, instead of writing duplicate on them, you will probably be visited by 6 different Census workers looking for responses. LOL

think if you only have a post office box # or live in an apartment building-you are the lucky ones who get a Census Worker to call on you

Sadder yet is a government too stupid to know how to send out Census forms in the first place.
