Please refresh my memory-any bus going from MGM to DTD?

I can't remember if they have a bus that goes directly to DTD from MGM or if you have to go back to your resort (or another resort) and then connect?? We've only got 4.5 days and the only day I can fit DTD in, we'll be in MGM in the morning-possibly going to DTD for a bit in the afternoon and then returning to MGM in the very late afternoon for the Fantasmic Dinner pkg..... I was trying to save time somehow... if there isn't a bus going direct, are there taxis outside MGM that are readily available??

There are no direct busses to or from DTD from any of the parks. They used to have them but people took advantage of the free parking at DTD to go to the parks. I would suggest "connecting" at Carribean Beach.

Yes, there ARE taxis available.

My suggestion is walking from MGM to the Boardwalk and catching the bus there.

The problem with it is, it isn't a short walk. It takes 15 to 20 minutes on the walking path.

But that is probably still faster than a bus connection at a resort.

If you're working with a short time, a cab is the best option.

Thanks for the suggestion...but we are actually staying at the YC and as I recall, the bus ride to DTD takes FOREVER from the Epcot resorts hence the reason I was hoping that MGM had a direct bus~LOL~We may end up doing that anyway or seeing if there is a taxi available @ MGM.... I cannot do a Disney trip in 4.5 days!!!LOL! (DH is self-employed and that's all he could take off)
