please recommend spray in hair color for a child...need blue/green hair

My daughter needs some TEMPORARY hair dye -- her hair needs to be BLUE/green.

Can someone recommend a product and where to get it?

I realize we could probably go have her hair dyed at a salon which would be $$$$$$$ -- just can't do that right now. I know I heard someone talking at Halloween about spray in color -- and hopefully, it will wash out.

Might be tough to find in stores this time of year. I see it everywhere at Halloween. You could probably find it online, though.

I've seen colored sprays and gels at Sally's Beauty Supply (think they have those most everywhere). Just be careful if she has light hair, some of the temporary stuff might stain it. A wig is always an option, you could probably find most any color online.

Party City has spray that is colored. It is almost like hair spray. And washes out fine.

If you have a Sally's around I would look there! We bought the "manic panic" type that you put on like a regular die and is says it will last 4-5 washes, it didn't last that long on my boys hair, only 1 or 2 washes and it was really discolored?!! (He wanted blue and it was blue till we would wash it and then it was more of a gray) But it did wash all the way out. They also have the sprays in a lot of different colors and if they don't have the color you need they can order it, or you can order it on line. They also have the stuff that is a colored gel.....

Last year I bought some hair spray color stuff after Halloween for this summer... we always do a big car show and my son (and sometimes daughters) like to put colors in their hair for it... this year it will be red, white and blue!

As someone else pointed out if she has light colored hair be careful. I sprayed mine pink for Halloween one year. I was supposed to wash out. Well, several washings later I still had pink hair (I was blond at the time). I ended up having to go to the salon and to get it out.

Depending on how she needs to wear her hair Manic Panic has a temporary color gel. Sometimes Hot Topic has temporary hair color spray or as another poster said try Sally's. Good luck!
