HI DIS friends,

We're planning to go to Epcot for two days...one day for WS and one day for FW. THe day for World Showcase I've already made a PS dinner for Biergarten.

But for the day at Future World, I made a PS for Princess Story Time breakfast in Norway, but nothing yet for dinner? The ice cream social at Garden Grill will be closed when we're there. -- bummer.

Please any recommendations? We has a family prefer the fun type of restuarants with atomsherpe, entertainment and/or antics.

I would consider going out of Epcot to Whispering Canyon at WL. Then you can go back to Epcot after dinner.

Oogie Boogie,

How far of a walk is it to WHispering Cafe from Epcot?

Thanks!

You can't walk to it. It's over at the Wilderness Lodge, so you would have to take a bus. As far as sit down places in FW, the only one I can think of is Coral Reef, but I'm sure others will remember some more!

you can not walk to whispering canyon cafe from epcot; you would need to take the wildreness lodge bus. what about leaving the park through the international gate and go to beaches and cream? this is an easy walk. the portions are large enough to share. be sure to save room for dessert! however, if you are wanting to stay in epcot, how about the garden grill? it is a character dinner w/mickey, chipndale, pluto. the meal is served family style. good luck!

How's about walking over to Disney's Boardwalk? They have all kinds of entertainment and dining options for a fun-loving family.

What about Teppanyaki Steakhouse? It's a Bennihana type place where they cook the food in front of you on a very big grill. The chefs are usually entertaining, some more so than others. Each grill seats 8 people so you may be seated with another family (like at the Beirgarten, so you should be OK with that :)).

We ate at L'Alfredos in Italy and had the best time.

Rudy, our waiter, was fun and made everyone feel special. The kids loved it.
We would do it again.

The WS has so much to offer, I would try a restaurant there or maybe head over to the Boardwalk. WL is too far away, for a quick meal, for Epcot.

There is also the Marrakesh Restaurant in the Morocco pavilion. The food is pretty good (tho it's even better at our Moroccan friends' house) and there is a belly dancer for entertainment (nothing risqué). My kids loved it (so did the grownups of course).
