What are the DIS VMK forums all about?

They are meant to give us a place where we can all share our love of Disney and Disney's VMK. A place to make new friends and enjoy those friendships we have already made. A place to discuss VMK and help one another by providing game news, tips, hints, and support when other members are in need.

We are a very diverse community that must remember to treat one another with the respect everyone deserves. Disagreements and discussions are fine, but not those that are sarcastic and argumentive towards other members.

Please show you fellow DIS members(that includes the moderating team) here on the VMK boards and all the DIS boards they Respect the deserve.

If you have a problem with another member, take it to PM, please keep it off the boards.

We would like to welcome all our newer members and ask that you take the time to review the DIS Board posting and signature guidelines. This is even good advice for our long time members. New members will also find lots of useful information located in the Sticky threads at the top of the boards. That is a great place to start! If you ever have a question, please feel free to PM one of the Moderators for help.

We have a wonderful, caring, strong community and would like to thank all of you for helping us keep the VMK forums what they are meant to be.

Excellent post, Mal. I know that I myself am guilty of being sarcastic at times (at other's expense, I'm afraid), but this post has given me resolve to try to fight that addiction.

Hopefully others will follow my example as well and remember that you too were once a newcomer and didn't know how the forums worked. Making fun of these souls that are just learning this new communication medium is not only not rewarding, but also discouraging to the other players.

Bump I agree, and when there is an arguement on the boards, other people tend to get involved which starts a bigger fight.

I just want to add that if anyone feels that a post or thread does not have a place on a particular board, is rude, against DIS board guidelines etc please PM or use the report post button to report the post. DO NOT post a negative or rude post about it on the thread.


Please let's try to be respectful and feeling towards our other board members.

What about my thread? I don't know why but on VMK ppl are ignoring me. Which I won't say who, I went into someone's room. She was there, she won't be my friend bc she has a VERY good reason for it. Which idk why. So that's why I made that thread.
