Hey guys,
I've been skimming through some of these threads, and it saddens me that I have to say this...
If I see another post that refers to other members of the DIS negatively then I am closing the thread that has that post, and I will stop giving warnings and will give infractions instead. Negative comments (direct and indirect) about fellow DISers will not be tolerated on these boards ... period. Not everyone has to like everyone, but everyone who participates on these boards need to be tolerant of others, and be friendly to them. The DLR boards are known for their friendliness, and many, if not all, who post here do so because of that.
All posts on these boards are public, and must adhere to the guidelines. Sherry, Judy, & I help to maintain these boards, and it is much more fun for us to participate in discussions, not act as playleaders on the grounds making sure people behave.
I would hope that everyone would be mature and not talk about other people, but if it is beyond your control, please take those discussions off the DIS. There are plenty of other forums that are less moderated and I am sure there are other venues more private where you can talk about people all you want (though I would sincerely hope that you would choose to take the higher road and not do that since it's the right thing to do).
I really hope that some of you can let these issues go and concentrate on the the friendships formed here, or participate positively here. Life is too short to worry about what is said on these boards where it affects some people negatively, and if that's the case, it might be time to step away for awhile to gain some perspective.
If people here really are having issues then those issues need to be brought to the moderators' attention. If we can't handle it then we'll go to the webmasters. If you would rather go straight to the webmasters then that is fine, too. Their address is admin@wdwinfo.com.
