Hi everyone! Just wanted to post a reminder of the clipart guidelines on the DIS. Please help us out by staying within the guidelines because it does help the site move faster!
Clipart Guidelines:
1) no more than 2 pieces of clip art per post - This does not include "smilies" from the box on the left. However if you put like 100 bouncing guys in your signature I'm gonna get dizzy and then I'll get cranky - best to avoid that all around
2) clip art should total no more than 30k in size (to find out the amount of kb used by a graphic, right click on the graphic in your browser and select "properties". 1000 bytes = 1k, 15000 bytes = 15k). You may have one piece of clipart up to 30K in size, or any combination of two that add up to no more than 30K. This one is a biggie. I've noticed some clipart that is considerably over this limit. Usually changing the image from a .bmp to a .gif or a .jpg will solve this problem.
3) Clip art should be no more than 200 pixels in any direction (the above process will show the number of pixels as well).
If you need to resize your clipart or need any other help with graphics, please feel free to visit our supermods (I've learned not to call them technoweenies, trust me, it ain't pretty) over on the
Tech support board. I'm sure they can help you out
Thanks for your co-operation everyone!
