Please pray my 31 yo sister was just diagnosed with breast cancer UPDATE post 50

Thank you for the update! I'm so happy that they caught it early! The chemo will be a rough road, but you will see such strength in your sister, it can be overwhelming.

My sister was stage 1 as well, caught on mammogram. Not DCIS, but still fortunate. What I didn't mention previously is that she was actually in her 2nd year of her fellowship for oncology. The experience gives her something that most oncologists don't have, the experience of being a cancer patient. She has also decided to become a breast specialist in her practice.

Oh, I'm getting kinda teary right now, bringing my emotions back to that place when DSIL and DS were diagnosed. Stay strong...
