Please pray my 31 yo sister was just diagnosed with breast cancer UPDATE post 50

Sending prayers for your sister and your family. Breast cancer is scary but don't fret yet until you know more. There have been great advances in the treatment over the years.

My mom had breast cancer 25 years ago and did the whole mascectomy and chemo thing. She found a small tumor about 10 years ago which required a lumpectomy and about 18 months ago we found out she had metastatic breast cancer in her bones. I don't tell you all this to scare you but to encourage you that just because you have breast cancer doesn't mean your life is over. My mom is doing great and has for the past 25 years. (Mom just went on the ABD trip with me and enjoys life to the fullest. In fact, she probably has more energy than I do.) She credits the power of prayer and a positive attitude to her longevity.
