It seems that the MYW packages are selling like hotcakes and I'm beginning to notice a lot of threads saying that resorts are already booked up or sold out of a particular category of room (courtyard, etc.). I thought it might be helpful for people still trying to decide when to go if we could put all this information on one thread so that it is easier to find.

So, if you have called recently to inquire about a particular date and were told something is already sold out, would you kindly add it to this thread?

Janet - we're planning on the beginning of December, but are pretty flexible with our dates. We're leaning toward POR. I'm watching the Disney website like a hawk, just in case things start booking up quickly then.

I'm just surprised by the number of threads being posted already saying that resorts are booking up - the latest one I saw today said CR was booked from Dec 3-5, and another one said a resort was already booked up for a weekend in January. I just thought it might be helpful for everyone out there planning a trip who has not booked yet to be able to keep tabs on what's filling up and when.

honesty I really would not worry to much about it. I would figure out where you wqnt to stay and have a second back-up...you might even want to book it ....that way you can get where you want!

I think its confusing! I tried to book the week of Oct 2 for standard view at AKL (rack rate lists $199) nothing available, so I booked at POFQ, and I did try and modify dates, but decided POFQ will be a great choice for our original date!

Well, I was originally thinking of starting off my August vacation w/ 3 nights at AKL. This would be starting 8/12. There was nothing left in standard view, and she said if I wanted pool view I needed to at the very least put a hold on a room as she said there were very few of those left either. I wasn't using a discount or anything-so I guess this is general availability at that resort. Needless to say we went another way.

Also, remember that what shows up as booked today may very well be cancelled by someone and available tomorrow. If your heart is set on a particular resort and date, keep calling back.

If anyone has any desire to go in the next couple of weeks, when we made reservations in early May, all of the Mods were booked, all of the Values were booked except Music, but AKL & WL still had rooms (no AAA rooms left at WL though). No idea about the other deluxes since they were way out of our price range. This is for June 11th-18th. We also tried June 18th-25th, with the exact same result. First time that's ever happened to us (i.e. all the Mods being full).

I first tried to get something for the end of June and there were NO vacancies. So we moved to the end of august and had no trouble getting what we wanted - actually 3 different resorts over 9 nights.

We are going Oct 8-16 and I tried to book the GF about two months ago. They did not have all 8 nights available for a standard view, I could only get the first 4 nights. We had to split our stay between there and the BC.

We're going 11/30-12/6 and got WL Woods View because no standards were available...

Oct 11-15 no AAA standard rooms at AKL available. We went with savannah instead.

I would just keep trying. When I called in mid-May for June 18-24, I was told there was NO AVAILABILITY at any on-property resort. I kept calling and checking the web site and within a few days, ended up with a room at POP. I could have also booked a room at AS-S, AS-Mu, or Corornado Springs for the same dates. When I called earlier this week to see if any AP rooms were available, the only thing open was OKW for just under $200/night, which was out of our budget for this trip.
