Prayers and pixie dust to you.

I had my perinatologist tell me that ds#2's kidney wasn't measuring right. One was showing smaller than the other and we had to watch it. Next visit, I got his oh so charming colleague (not) who verified that yes, it was measuring small but wouldn't answer any questions, sending me to my pediatrician.

Son was born and they took an ultrasound when he was two hours old...everything was fine.

I'm sure that things look really bad, but those ultrasounds can't tell us everything we need to know every time. (((HUGS))).

Sometimes those ultrasounds tell us too much that may be wrong! I had so many things that may be wrong with one of my twins, they scared the dickens out of me....I cried for 4 months straight and not a thing was wrong!!!!And I had the low fluid situation, they monitored every other day for a month and it was fine, With me there was a hole pin prick size , tiny hole and sometimes it was leaking somtimes not, depending on the babys positon. Good luck, Try not to worry its hard, believe me I know.

Kristy, I will most certainly pray for you and your dear baby. I've been where you are now because I had a situation where a problem was picked up on ultrasound and was told to not worry and they'd do another one again, etc. So I know its impossible to "not worry". I hope the united prayers of all your DIS friends will bring you some measure of comfort and that very soon all will be well.
