One of my older friends and classmates died last night in a car crash. This came as a shock to everyone because we never would've expected it to be her. Somebody else, maybe, but not her. Our community is in complete shock, she was just about to go to college.

So please, give your kids a hug and a kiss today and let them know you love them. Tomorrow is never, ever promised.

A sudden death is always shocking, especially when it's someone so young. You never know what's around the corner.

Imabrat, I'm so sorry to hear you lost a friend. How are you holding up? This is such a hard thing to go through. I'm a believer in always giving hugs and kisses to the people you love and letting them know how much they mean to you. You just never know what's in store in life.
