Woo hoo !! *Excellent* !!!
And what time will the 3 o'clock parade start on that day ?![]()
I'm sorry. The Andalusian 3 o'clock parade has been suspended as the "technology is obsolete."

I think two a week is my limit.
Not every segment is going to be for everyone.. not matter what the group does they will not please everyone all the time and good for them for not trying. I laughed so had when Theresa read the names... I would not say it was dry at all. Some are not going to care for the budget segment or the Andrew Zimmer Interview.. Heck I hate hearing it is warm and sunny every week in the weather but I have the choice to fast forward or not listen or suck it up and listen until the next part.
I guess what I am saying is keep up the good work. No disrespect to the original poster glad you expressed your opinion.. that is the good thing about the DIS.. we can don't have to all belive the same thing.. although I did refer to it as my cult earlier today![]()
I'm starting to think I'm more "Disnetarian" than Catholic. Think about it-we have a leader who some believe will come back from the dead, we have icons, we have our holy sites, we have ritual songs, we hang on the words of the disciples who actually knew the leader, we unite weekly to share thoughts about all of it-we even have ritual food and eating places! Sister Mary Ann would be appalled, but it's the story of my life....

^Very interesting.
Let's see... Many followers "tithe" a good portion of their incomes in the name of visiting the holy sites. We have our own style of dress in the form of character shirts and special hats with mouse ears on them, we have our own "purgatory" where the dead die but never really go anywhere, (The Haunted Mansion) heh...
There's a lot of places one could take this concept, but I'll leave it there...

All I can think of is "Bones" explaining how anthropologically speaking we've created our own religion.
I am not sure how many families "tithe" (which is one tenth of income), but I do wonder how many people "give" more to Walt Disney World every year than they do to the church the attend regularly.
I'm guessing you also give the grocery store more than you give the church you regularly attend.
And the gas station.
You get the idea.

I do buy more in groceries...especially if you count eating out... but I definitely buy less gas than I tithe.
Now Mickey??...I am going to have to do the math...because I am afraid Mickey may be getting almost as much as my church this year with so many trips. And that I am going to have to fix.
On the subject, though, I think the DIS Unplugged has an audience that is so large that if you included every birthday, you would be reading hundreds of names each week. But if you only include the people that follow particular podcasters on FB, then it should be a manageable list.
