Must say I agree with the first poster - and my dirthday was yesterday. I did enjoy the email from the dis wishing me a happy birthday

My birthday is tomorrow, But I certainly don't expect to hear about it on the show. I haven't listened yet, was I mentioned?

DIS Unplugged is a different kind of podcast - it can get very personal. I listened for over a year before I started posting. I am not sure if it is happening more, or if I am just noticing more because I sort of "know" the posters. Very often the podcast teams mentions people in "inside" ways that the casual listeners would not understand.

I am not saying it is good or bad, I am just sayin'...

Yes Lyn, Your birthday was mentioned.. I like the birthday list, but maybe make is shorter doing them each week rather than the whole month at one time. This can be Teresa's Rapid Fire or Housekeeping item each week.

Seriously, this is what makes the DIS different. Or maybe not different, just special. Special to us, any way.

I do listen to other podcasts and they mention listeners. I have had my email read on WDW Today. I am on the on AllAbouttheMouseketeer Roll Call. I know other podcasts have discussion boards that are probably just as great. But this is the only one I participate in.

This was an idea. Trying new things keeps the show from getting predictible. You never know if something will work or not if you don't try. I have no way of knowing if Pete will keep this segment going. I know I enjoyed reading everyones names. Maybe 2 times a month would break it up alittle. Thank you for all of the feed back and keep it coming.

I liked it!

I think it's nice to have a little shout out (not just because my birthday is next month and i'll be turning the big 2-1!), esspecially for those who are less well known on the boards and may not have a post especially for them.

It maybe easier when a whole month isn't read out at once, or maybe Teresa could try and do them all in one breath!

I think we should try it a few more months and see how it goes!

I think the list was long because of no show last week. I doubt the list would be as long every week. (of course the long break in December might call for a huge list in January.

I didn't mind it. Anyone can use the fast forward button if want.

I think the birthday list was great, fun, and unexpected. Keep it coming Teresa, you are doing great!!!

Also, if anyone has an actual comment in regards to helping the show I'm sure that dropping the Podcast an e-mail may be the best way to go.

Teresa - I think you are a great addition to the podcast. Every week, it seems that you are getting more and more comfortable being on the mic. My son and I think you are so funny! Keep the changes coming; it keeps things from getting boring!
