Hi! My kids and I have annual passes. My DH does not, since he is a one trip per year kind of guy. If I get a package to get the dining plan with say a 3 day hopper can he use the adult hoppers for himself and I just save my daughers for another trip? He would be using the one on my key, my son's key, and his own key to get in for 9 days.

Yes, that is fine :)

Until they are used the first time the tickets are yours to use or give away as you please. Once a ticket with multiple days is used the first time however it it "tagged" to that person and he/she is the only one who should use it from then on.

Not a problem ;) Anyone can use the pass the first time it is used and then it is linked to that person and can't be transferred.

Thanks for the replies! That seems to be my best bet as it will allow me to use the dining plan and to get my DH his tickets.

You might be better off getting everyone one day tix and upgrading his to a 9 day when you get there, keeping all the other one day tix for future use (it has been posted that you can use this towards purchase/renewal of your next ap). This is especially true if you are talking about adding hopping or wp as you would be adding this for each and every ticket. I'm just assuming the daughter is a child but it really doesn't matter just changes the numbers similarly in both cases.

3-adult 3 day tix = 645ish
1 child 3 day tix = 181ish
Total OOP = 826,
Remaining future value 181,
Cost for husbands 9 days of base tickets= 645

3 adult 1 day tix=226ish
1 child 1 day tix = 64ish
Upgrade for 1 adult tix from 1 day to 9 day approx - 150ish
Total OOP = 440
Remaining future value = 214ish
Cost for husbands 9 days of base tickets = 237

So while purchasing 1 day tickets gives you the extra hassle of having to upgrade hubbs upon arrival
3 day tix nearly doubles your OOP
1 day tix leaves you a little more future value (3 one day tix instead of 1 three day tix)
3 day tix makes the actual 'cost' of your hubbs ticket more than an extra 400.

I agree with Beth Cam! You can then use the one day tix for you and kids and apply it towards your next AP. :thumbsup2

I was going to post the same thing, but you did a much better job! Crunch those numbers and buy the one day pass.

Thank you very much! I hadn't thought of that! DUH. I guess I assumed that if you upgraded one, all had to be done. Thanks a lot for the info.

No - but that can be confusing. You do have to purchase the same tickets for everyone to get the package but after that you can take each ticket and upgrade it separately. So the PP's had great suggestions, upgrade your dh's ticket to what he needs as additional days are at a discount. Then save the others for future use or to apply toward the purchase of new AP's.

We just did this, DD and I have AP's, but my sis and niece do not. So we booked the package with 1 day passes and my sis upgraded hers and niece's to 4 day hoppers right at the concierge at the hotel. Very easy.

I had the 2 one-day passes switched over to regular passes instead of the hotel keys, because, DH and I may use them for our 25th anniversary next year. I wasn't sure if my DD name would be a problem on the ticket I would use to upgrade his....

Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for asking a question I had been wondering about myself....So I dont have to use that one day ticket on that same trip....Great! Thanks for the info everyone....

This is correct... Last Sept 06 for free dining, we had new AP's, I booked one day base tickets on the free dining, this May 07, we went to Guest Services and converted the one day ticket over to our new AP's, full credit was applied.
