We fly out on Wednesday arriving in LA at noon. This is the last full day to really get organized because I have to work Mon and Tues with 12 kids! Can't really focus with the noise, ya know?

Anyway, I tend to get a little secretly anxious just about everything. This trip is going to have a little tension added to it...personal...dumb tension...tension that didn't have to happen...but noooooooo someone in my group had to go and do something stupid...oh well life moves on after the tension right?

Please help me to remember everything...maybe it will help someone else too!

Thank you! I print it off and use it as a check list!

Oh and I have a silly question  ...if my flight leaves at 10:58am and arrives in LA at 12:08 noon....does that mean it's really 11:08am in LA with the time change? See what stupid people can do to mess up your mind? I think I may have just figured that out because I see it writing.

The time listed on your tickets is the local time that you will be arriving, so you will arrive at 12:08 local time.

This has basically everything you may or may not need.

The Ultimate Packing List

Just click on the link and it'll upload and you can save it to your computer or just print out.

It does say it's for Disney World but you can disregard such items as Ponchos and umbrellas.

OP...I am getting there on Tuesday too!

Your flight will be about 2 hours long (10:58-1:08 mountain time/9:58-12:08 Pacific). As a previous poster stated, the airlines always list the time as whatever the local time is for each airport. Confusing, yes.

I am also packing, but I still haven't gotten dressed to haul the laundry the 2 blocks down the street to go take care of it. Ugh. :laundy:

I haven't checked out that packing list (it's not loading for me) but I always make sure to pack medicines including icy hot and moleskin. Also, a small scissors to cut the moleskin OR pre-cut it before you leave. Medicine is very expensive and occasionally impossible to find on-site. Also, plastic bags (for wet swimsuits and small items) can be very useful. I also usually pack an extra duffel bag/suitcase inside my luggage because somehow everything seems to expand during a Disney trip (except my wallet...that seems to shrink!). Don't forget sunglasses either and your bag for inside the park.

Most importantly...your photo ID, your money, and your travel documents!

Thanks for the list. It helped me as well. I'm leaving tomorrow. And thanks to the Dopey's MIL for posting the question. :thumbsup2 I think, I'll take a poncho for GRR though.
To Dopey's MIL & Where's Piglet, have fun. Nice weather is predicted.:cheer2:

Have you seen our tabs at the top of the DL discussion board? We have a lot of great information that our DL admin team works hard to put together. One of the tabs is Planning, and there is a great list there. :)

Here is a suggested packing list that was put together with the help of fellow DISers: http://www.wdwinfo.com/disneyland/plan/packing.htm

And, as a side note. I know that a lot of people are super helpful, which is great, but as a courtesy to the owner of these boards, before linking info & tips from other sites, please check the DIS first for the info. If it's not on the DIS, then feel free to link other sites.

Thanks, :)

If you plan on going on Grizzly or Splash, I would plan to buy some ponchos, if you don't bring them. :)

Things I can't live without:
1) My OWN pillow
2) Sunscreen in a brand I like (plus, talk about expensive in the parks!!!)
3) Your own laundry products so you can pack light and do laundry during your afternoon break. The laundry washes, you rest your feet :).

I always strive to pack like my friend who takes ONE carry on, even on long vacations. I don't DO it, but I always strive to :).

That's how I am too. I cannot go anywhere over night without my OWN pillow. Call me crazy, but I can't sleep if it's not my pillow.. :confused3

And, not to derail the thread, but I've been *trying* to but a new one, but I can't find one that works.

The other thing I like to bring is my own teabags. Yeah, I know, kind of silly, but most hotels only offer a limited selection.

I found a site that offers "minis" of everything for travel. Many of the things they offer you could find in the store in packages of six or eight, but they had some things that are really great for travel. For people whose trips are further away, try googling travel size. Not only does it get you through security easier, you can sometimes find the brands you already use in small sizes.

Don't forget that First Aid in both parks has a variety of pain relievers, but more importantly, they make the BEST ice packs. I'm still trying to figure out how to make an ice pack like they do, for the headaches I don't want to medicate (most of them). :)

Make sure to leave as much of the tension and stress behind as possible and enjoy your trip! :goodvibes

I'll be there this weekend too  :yay: :woohoo: :cloud9: :woohoo: :yay:

Which section of the tips is that in? I must be overlooking it. :confused3

:goodvibes If you click on the link, it should take you directly to the packing list. Or at least that is where it took me.

the link opened for me too! I was just wondering where it is in case someone else down the road wants to know.
