A Florida prosecutor, Pam something, sorry I forget her last name was on Geraldo the other night. She said Casey could still be tried for murder 1 (Felony Murder in Florida) even if it was an "accidental overdose of cholorform" because that would be aggravated child abuse which is a felony. If you commit a felony and a death occurs from it, it is Felony Murder (Murder 1) in the state of Florida, not involuntary/voluntary manslaughter. It doesn't matter if it was premeditated or not.

But you know it couldnt of been a accident with duct tape across her mouth. What would she say," I accendently put duct tape across her mouth"? This thing is so weird.

From what I've read, there was something (towel, sheet, etc?) that apparently had been wrapped around her body. They also found the duct tape, of course, and bag. I don't know if they found anything else. I think I read that they did not find any clothing, which is interesting considering Casey's "they didn't even find her clothes yet" comment.

Thank you for the info. I hope they find proof of Casey doing it (disclaimer - if in fact she did, which we all believe she did). At least she can be put to rest now.

2 of my questions where answered on Nancy Grace tonight.
1. Has anyone been visiting or calling Casey still? NO. Her family has not visited since the discovery of the body, supposedly on the advice of their new atty, because the calls/visits are all taped & they don't want to add to any possible crimes against them. Of course, NG thought it odd that no one would visit the mother of a child who is "grieving" because the nanny killed her child.

2. I was wondering if Casey would be allowed to attend the funeral since she hasn't been found guilty yet with no trial yet. The experts she had on tonight voted 1-yes, 2-no. The ones voting no said the judge would probably feel its too risky & too much of a security problem to allow her to attend.

Also, Leonard being on every night & changing his thoughts about how/when/what happened down to the detail are driving me crazy. Your 15 minutes of fame were up long ago LP. You aren't working for the police or the family. No need to keep hanging around claiming you've become friends with everyone. Stick around, but shut up until you have some FACTS.

I completely agree with this, he changes his statements to fit in with what is being reported. Just go away now and let the investigators and prosecutors handle the case.

Do we know when the testing will be complete and they will officially announce that this is Caylee's body?

The Anthonys new lawyer is just as warped as they are....
Breaking News!! A new Zenaida Gonzales!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

oh these people.... I guess they want some more slander lawsuits from some more Zenaidas.:rotfl:

I have no respect for these defense lawyers. Defending a child killer for nothing more than fame:sad2:

Apparantly at 2pm there will be a emergancy motion heard.

JB wants photos of the body and crime scene area....or something like that.

Concerning the emergency hearing:

"The motions will ask that the Orange County Sheriff's Office turn over photographs, video recordings and drawings taken at the crime scene where a child's remains were found on Thursday. The location is very near the Anthony home.

A second motion asks that the defense be allowed to conduct a second autopsy on the remains, and the final motion seeks to preserve forensic evidence and appoint a forensic expert for the court."

Ok, concerning the first motion, isn't that standard operation practice for the prosecution to turn over photographs, etc to the defense? Although, nothing should be turned over to the defense until a POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION is made. To me this screams that the defense thinks it is Caylee.

I think this motion is a huge waste of time, the prosecution said they would turn over the crime scene etc when they had finished there investigation.

Well I am glad the "grandparents" are starting to admit things. But if (as they claim) THEY are innocent, why would they need immunity?

Maybe they should get a plea deal, or whatever it's called. If Grandma would tell all she really knows a lot of questions might be answered.

Again, when will we know the I.D.? Anyone know? :confused3 :confused3

I am taking a plate of cookies and fudge to my local police department in memory of Caylee and to thank them for all they are exposed to. I live all the way across the country from Florida. Think of the officer who had to photograph those remains while he though of his own dear children at home. That sort of image DOES NOT leave you.

I challenge everyone who was touched by this sweet baby to thank an officer this week.

It could be a week or weeks before we get a positive ID. I think they are probably going to run every kind of test possible to make sure.

I am watching Baez while this hearing is going on. Every third word seems to be "um" or "ah". He isn't very good when it comes to presenting these motions, he needs to take a speech class.

OMG Baez said: the area was "more of an excavation site than a crime scene". HELLO, they are finding bones, they have to sift through the scene. I want to smack him.

If the defense wants access to the autopsy and crime scene when they dont' even know it is Caylee, Casey needs to admit it is Caylee.

...because they made conflicting statements in the past and don't want to be prosecuted for obstruction of justice (at least that is what I gathered from the article).

I still can't help but feel sympathetic for them and for their loss. I still believe they had nothing to do with it and knew nothing (based on hearing and seeing all those tapes from jail). Obviously they were trying to protect their daughter with their irrantional behaviors during this whole thing, but surely they are seeing the light now.

So now what?

Where do George and Cindy go from here??

Will they start to see through Casey? Or will they now believe that Zenieda has killed her?

I agree with this. I think Caylee meant the world to them and they would have never hurt that sweet baby. I also think that they want to believe that their own daughter would not have done this. Even if it seems like she did - maybe in their heads, they just don't want to condemn her anymore than she already is. I feel bad for the grandparents - but obviosuly not as bad as I feel for sweet little Caylee, but they have to be devestated over this.

I have always felt that Cindy knew the truth but felt somewhat responsible for pushing Casey over the edge which caused her to snap. Cindy thinks she indirectly caused Caylee's death by giving Casey the ultimatum on their last day in the house when she told Casey that they would go to court and get custody of Caylee.
