Forgive me if this has been mentioned. But when was the car found in respect to how long Caylee had already been missing? I ask because if she was dumped in a dumpster and no one started looking for her until 3-4 weeks later, wouldn't it stand to reason it would be almost impossible to find the body that many weeks afterward? Which could be another reason Casey held out telling anyone she was "missing."

Also, I am not able to get the live feed from in front of the Anthony home. Is anyone else having an issue with it not opening? I can get on the site but there is no picture.

Sorry, but the Anthony's had better be charged with obstruction, its so flipping obvious how they tried to cover her many times, washing a knife, washing clothes from the trunk, dumping detergent in the trunk, the list goes on.

She wasn't reported missing until July 15 or 16, which is the day that the Anthony's got the car back.

Casey has given the June 9th date for the day she was kidnapped but I thought that they proved that there were photos taken with the great-grandfather on Father's Day (June 15).

I guess the Anthony's are getting tons of death threats.

THey know where garbage was dumped. In the Hacking case, they found Lori's body like..two weeks later? I could be wrong on that but it was quite a while.

They know what sections have been dumped. It IS like looking for a needle in a haystack, and it's disturbing for the people who find the bodies. But it can be done.

I believe George Anthony paid to have the car released from the impound lot on the same day that Cindy called 911 and reported that it smelled like there was a "dead body in the damn car" -- that was around July 15, if my memory serves me right. Casey says the nanny took Caylee on June 9th -- but photographic evidence on a laptop showed a photo was taken with Caylee and Cindy's dad on Father's Day (June 15th). So, by that timeline, it would have been anywhere from 4-5 weeks between the time Caylee was last seen and the time the car was found/Caylee was reported missing. PLENTY of time for a body to be buried under tons of rotting garbage in a landfill.

I read over at websleuths a lot. Never post. So many cases there on the missing board. It's scary to think about how many people go missing in a day.

The legal definition of insanity and the psychiatric definition of insanity are two very different things. Obviously, the layman's def of insanity is another matter altogether. In this instance, the LEGAL definition of insanity is all that matters and Casey comes nowhere near meeting it. It varies by state, but I'll bet DH's paycheck she can't meet Florida's standard.

As far as finding a body in a landfill......My bet is it can't be done in this case. The size of the body, the length of time it has had to decompose, the amount of trash that has been dumped on top of it, etc., will make it virtually impossible to find. There was a case in Houston a few years ago in which the murderer had chopped up the victim. The police had could narrow down the landfill area, but not pinpoint it and only a week or two had gone by. Given that decomposition would have left almost nothing, they knew the odds of finding any body part was almost nil. Also, the search would have cost at least several hundred thousand dollars. I'll bet a search for Caylee's body would cost more and there's no guarantee it was even put in a dumpster. That poor child could have been dumped in water with alligators.

Last night I told DH that I'll have a hard time buying any "accident" story since (1) every word out of Casey's mouth is a lie, and (2) even if a mother accidentally killed her child, what mother would leave that precious child's body to ROT somewhere? A mother with ANY conscience and even a tiny amount of love would not do that to her child's remains.
