From what we saw, yep...another guest did too! Then we changed it, it turned my stomach and I didnt want DD11 to see...You are my SUnshine is a song I have been singing to her since she was a baby....I still cant watch that video of poor Caylee singing without losing it!

Well, Anna Nicole wasnt found in a nick of time, so you have something there...who knows!
I do believe he could have thoughts of ending it.....to be tortured by thoughts of what happened to poor Caylee, at the hands of his daughter??! Perhaps he feels guilty of allowing himself to believe his daughters countless trail of lies.....
I am no expert...lol...but ..most people, who REALLY want to end it.....find a way....it could be a cry for help....definately attracting sympathy for the Anthony's....I dont think this will benefit Casey in anyway with reasonable doubt....I would hope most potential jurors will see Casey for the monster she is...and have sympathy for her parents.

If I understand right there was a suicide letter, or part of one when they found George in the hotel. Have they said anything about what that letter said?

Does anyone else think it's yet another hoax on the part of this family to plant doubt that it was Casey? I mean a jury goes on BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT... and grandpa was in a hotel getting ready to off himself, probably with just the start of a letter that isnt clear and could mean anything.

How many people are found n a hotel room "Just in the nick of time"??????

George did not show up for a meeting with his lawyer, which was very unlike him. He sent a couple of text messages to friends basically telling them goodbye. His lawyer was concerned enough that he contacted the police. The police were able to locate his car due to the GPS system. When found, George had taken prescription drugs and had been drinking. He has been in Halifax Medical Center under suicide watch and to recover from the effects of the drugs and alcohol. If they had not found him when they did, he wouldn't be here.

IMHO, and I have watched this train-wreck from the beginning on local news, George has suffered a breakdown. If anything, I think it is due to the fact that he knows Casey is guilty. I don't think he did it to help her case.

They are planning on releasing George from Halifax Medical Center later this week, but he will be moved to another care unit where he can continue to be monitored.

When I emailed them, I hinted that I had a suspicion that their charity was their own pocketbook. I got a canned response. Here it is:

However, after reviewing the response to our media introduction of the Sunshine Caylee Doll and listening to the advice of the general public. We feel that is it best to suspend the launch of The Sunshine Caylee Doll.

While we still feel it is important to raise awareness and raise money to help stop this type of crime from being committed. We feel we can be more effective using more traditional methods.

There you have it. No real response. I guess they figured out what the outrage would be over actually selling the item, but shouldn't common sense have dictated in the first place? What is wrong with people?

How could he not have a breakdown? I certainly would. If I had lost my grandchild auspiciously at the hands of my daughter, lost my daughter for what she had done, and have not been able to lay my granddaughter to rest, I'd go crazy. I think some of the "dark veiled references" to her friends in the letter is simply him trying to convince himself that Casey didn't do it.

I do think there is more to the Ricardo Morales situation than the police and the media are letting on, though. He was fired, wasn't he? Police officers usually look after their own, even they are lying where I come from. So if someone around here is fired, some nasty stuff has had to happen.

Thanks for sharing that. Morons......I think the Nancy Grace show last night may have had some bearing on "their" decision....however, there never will be a better time to launch that doll !!!

I hope George has some supportive people around him, he needs a good support group, no one can even understand the hell he must be going through

No, I don't think that it was a hoax. For one thing, he wasn't released from the hospital after 72 hours and believe me, no insurance company would allow him to stay in the hospital if the doctors thought that there wasn't a good reason. He would have been discharged.

From what I understand, his letter began coherently but became confusing as the drugs in his system took over.

People are found in the nick of time everyday. He didn't tell his family where he was, the police found him by following the pings from his cellphone.

That is weird, it cut off the last of my post. Anyway, as I was saying, I haven't kept up with this case as thoroughly as many of you but, I do nhot feel any sympathy for any of the Anthony's (Caylee excluded of course). I feel they all had a role in this child's life and each have failed her in some way, no matter how small.

I didnt get the whole qoute....at one point I thought someone said $3 from every sale of $29.99..perhaps someone caught the whole Nancy Grace...if ever I wanted to get a transcript from one her shows, this would have been one of them!

I totally agree with you on this. I know some people handle stress in different ways, but if someone that I loved was accused of something so horrible and I didn't believe that it was true, I would fight like he!! to prove it. By doing what he did, he was giving up on Casey & everything. I believe that he knows that she did it. I hate it for him too.

I never did hear the whole story on George and the hotel room attempt. I "thought" he ran and hid and was miraculously found in the nick of time... I didnt know he actually took the drugs and was on his way when they found him.
I'm not 100% convinced...but more than I was before. I'd still need to hear the drugs and the doses, but then of course I'd need someone to explain it to me anyway.

Also, Casey said to her ex-fiance that her brother had come on to her and touched her inappropriately awhile ago....and that she had been sexually abused

Also, after Casey talked to the jail shrink, her mom asked her "did you talk about?" and Casey said "oh, no, of course not.I didn't tell them."

And why Cindy and George wouldn't let her give her up for adoption when she wanted to -- didn't want anyone to find out.

Lee refused, when asked, to give a DNA sample in the beginning

Also, Lee's attorney slipped up once and refered to Caylee as Lee's daughter (instead of neice)

why Casey has said that there are things she can only talk about within her own family

why Casey hasn't ever really bonded with her daughter

why Lee hasn't been given immunity yet -- they might want this to come out as a motive in the trial

Casey conveniently named a deceased guy as her baby's father AFTER he was buried. His parents said they didn't know anything at all about a baby. BUT -- Casey is so into money that if she really thought he had been the dad, she would surely be collecting social security monthly for Caylee. She has not. She didn't even put a father's name on the birth certificate.

I don't think that Lee is the father. With Cindy always worrying about appearances, I think she would have encouraged Casey to have an abortion because "What if someone finds out?" would overrule everything.
