Which magazine? Tabloids do not count. If it was on the cover of TIME, that's one thing. If it's on the cover of STAR, that's something totally different. That rumor isn't in the Orlando papers, so it's likely someone is just trying to sell magazines. My guess is that if you read the article, it would state that Caley being "buried alive" was a "theory". Or that some psychic saw it in a vision. But think about it ... if the main bit of evidence is that there was a DECOMPOSING body in Casey's car, Caley could not have been buried ALIVE.

There have been several forensic specialists interviewed on local news in Orlando. They say the state only has circumstantial evidence and they will have a hard time proving beyond a reasonable doubt. While I realize that everyone wanted Casey back behind bars and charged with Caylee's murder, I hope the prosecution did not jump the gun on this. They only have a short period of time before they have to go to trial once she is formally charged (which happens today). If there case isn't tight enough, she could potentially get off. The defense will be asking for a change of venue. The case will most likely be tried in the panhandle area where it hasn't been in the news as much. Although, there is really no place that hasn't had a ton of coverage on this case. If the state has moved to quickly, without a body, she could possible get off. The state really should have been out looking more seriously for Caylee's body. I realize that is difficult, but the police hasn't spent much time searching. It has been private groups doing the searching. Not finding her body, may be the undoing on a conviction.

I'm really worried about that. If they don't have iron clad evidence and she get off and then they eventually find Caylee's body they couldn't retry her because of double jeopardy. I hope they find that baby soon.

I watched the NG last night and they only said that the day that Kaylee went missing, Casey was with her boyfreind renting vidios about a young girl that her mom was neglecting and another one where a young girl was murdered. The person at the rental place said that they never acted like they were nervious or anything.

I didnt realize there was A DAY that she went missing.

I can't help but think "couch retainer."

As for the lack of a body, many convictions have been obtained without one. If not, all a killer would have to do is just be very good at disposing of a body......And truly, it's not that hard, especially in a place with Florida's geography and animal life. I don't think a conviction will be difficult to get at all.

I agree. I think it's going to be similar to Lacy Peterson. Most of the country had already found him guilty before her body washed up. I also think the outrage in both cases are very similar.

Local news says he was warned about it, then did it again Now the Florida Bar is looking into it - here's some info about it from local news:

The Florida Bar Association will investigate attorney Jose Baez to determine if jailhouse hugs with Casey Anthony are violations of its ethical standards.

Casey and Baez have been seen on numerous occasions hugging each other, holding hands or sitting extremely close. Law enforcement sources said while at the jail, Baez would sit extremely close to Casey. During one visit an officer had to separate the two and warn him about what was called inappropriate behavior.

A jail spokesman said, "We do not allow contact for security reasons.”

The first time Baez was warned, officials said he told officers he did not know the rules, and was sorry and would make an effort to remember.

The reporter last night said that when they said sitting extremely close, they meant it - nose to nose, so close you couldn't get a sheet of paper between them!

And as the previous poster stated, the day Caylee went missing, video shows Casey and her BF at the Blockbuster store renting videos. Local6 news says:

Just before 8 p.m., seven hours after Caylee was last seen alive, Casey Anthony and Lazzaro are seen on surveillance video visiting the Blockbuster store near his apartment on University Boulevard. Caylee is not in the video.

"The movie shows an FBI agent being pursued by a sadistic cyber-stalker who pops the trunk of a car and is overcome by the smell of a fly-infested, rotting corpse left by the killer in the trunk of the car."
