well Jose Baez kicked the local media out of his office so they couldn't cover his statements so while we are getting a lot it isn't that much.

George testified against her. It took the grand jury less than an hour to come back with an indictment.

Cindy turned her into police at the Orlando Airport. It is speculated that they chose that location so that the media helicopters couldn't film the exchange.

They are reporting that Casey will represent HERSELF at trial with Baez as an 'advisor' therefor making the taxpayers foot the bill for her defense costs.

She has been indicted on 1st degree murder but no word on if they will seek the death penalty.

I've been following this thread from day 1. Praying that the prosecution has enough evidence so she doesn't slip through the cracks on a technicality.

Has anyone heard from the Grandparents. Yes, they behaved crazy. But I still feel sorry for them. In the beginning I think they just wanted to believe with all their hearts that their daughter couldn't have murdered their granddaughter. Then they got lost in all their "maybe it happened this way" or "maybe she was right and she couldn't have done it".

Thanks, I actually went to the news website linked above and when I refreshed the page got some articles, but your synopsis is better, now I don't have to wade through a lot of stuff.

I feel sorry for George, he asked people to pray for his grand daughter. I wish he could know how many have been all along.

I can't wait until 5 to see this - A Fox Orlando reporter said that she will show video at 5 that shows her news crew following Cindy & Casey from JB office after indictment, Cindy trying to "shake" them by driving in circles in a shopping center parking lot, then getting out of the car and walking over to their window and yelling at them, then traveling on Simpson Rd, getting on Boggy Creek Rd., stopping under a bridge, Casey jumping in a dark SUV (later reported to be deputy, so turning herself in), then Cindy blocking the road so no one could follow. Cindy then went home, put the garage door down. Reporter says she hasn't seen George at home at all today.

So do we think Cindy still believes Casey's innocent?? I imagine if George testified against her and Cindy still thinks she's innocent, that's the reason he hasn't been seen at home. Can't imagine anyones marriage would last that.

I dont know what Baez said to the press but did you notice that Casey was wearing a Caylee button on her shirt. WTH! I guess she is sticking with her original story that that "nanny" took her.

I guess Baez isn't qualified to represent her at trial. You need to be a member of the bar for 5 years to defend a capitol case...Baez only has 3 years experience.

I too think George and Cindy are headed for divorce. They've had problems in the past and Cindy is up to her eyeballs in this cover up.

I read online that her attorney said that once the truth comes out, everyone will understand. I'll have to try and find it again, but it sounded like he felt there was some earth shaking "truth" they were suddenly going to reveal.

Yes this is correct, not at the airport itself:

After the indictment, undercover officers followed Anthony as she traveled in her mother's SUV. The officers saw the SUV stop under a highway overpass, at which point Anthony got into another vehicle and drove off. Officers made the traffic stop after she entered the second vehicle, the spokesman said.

Ok, then here's what it showed on the news! Cindy took Casey to the lawyers office today and then as soon as the indictment went down, Cindy drove Casey away from the lawyers, with reporters following right behind them.

Cindy tried to ditch the reporters making turns, circling through a grocery store parking lot, etc. and when that didn't work, she stopped on the street, got out and ran back to the reporters car, slammed on their window and yelled at them, then got back in her SUV and went up on the sidewalk around some cars and then cut back in in front of some other cars to try and get away.

Then she drove on Simpson Rd. to Boggy Creek Rd., stopped under a bridge where Casey jumped in a dark colored SUV. Cindy then blocked the road so the reporters couldn't follow that SUV. The reporters originally thought it was a sheriff vehicle Casey got into, but later Cindy said she turned Casey over to the bailbonds man. His SUV was later stopped on the Beachline and Casey was taken into custody. Wonder if she was trying to run? I haven't seen Lee all day, was he somewhere waiting for a Casey drop off from the bailbond man? Edited to add - or was it Lee driving the SUV Casey got into under the bridge?

As far as Casey acting as her own attorney, I believe she thinks she can do that and win! She feels like she is a master manipulator, and I have to admit it looks like she has Baez wrapped around her finger. His constant comments about how when Casey tells the real story we will all go ohhhhh, makes me want to slap some sense into him.

Cindy and Casey left Baez's Kissimmee office around 3:30 pm. The indictment came down while they were driving home.
Cindy pulled over on Boggy Creek Rd while a newscrew was following them from both a helicopter and a news van.
Since Boggy Creek runs part on Airport property, the helicopter had to back off as they would have been in restricted air space.
Under the bridge on Boggy Creek is where Casey then jumped out of her mothers car and into a Grey Yukon.
About a half mile later, an undercover Deputy pulled the grey SUV over and arrested Casey for the murder of Caylee.

Cindy drove home alone and drove into her Garage where George's car was already parked.
The 2 of them are currently at home not speaking to the media.

Cindy did not block the news van from catching the transfer footage as that was a small dark car that was keeping the van at bay.

Casey is back in a jail cell at the Orange county jail in protective custody.
