Please List The Restaurants/Shows/ That Require A Phone Call 6 Months Out

Our party of 6 adults & 1 child will be there the end of October.

We'll, that depends on a couple of things.

If your traveling in the summer, or during a very busy time like a holiday period, most TS locations will book immediately.
If your traveling during slower times, you may have some time unless it is a very busy restaurant.
Also, small restaurants or character meals must be booked way in advance. (Not saying there won't be any tables available at all, but in most cases, its better to make ADR's just in case)
If your traveling during free dining (Aug-Oct), I highly recommend making ADR's way in advance.
If you have a big party, its a good idea to call early too because its a little harder getting tables for large groups.

Here is a list of places on the top of my head that you should book 180 days out:

1)Le Cellier (call on morning of your 180 day)
2)Cinderella's royal table (especially breakfast)

Those two are the most popular locations in WDW and should be booked on the morning of your 180 day out. Call as soon as the reservations line open.

Like I said, character meals, or meals that offer entertainment are very busy and should be reserved early.

In my opinion, I higly suggest you make ADR's right away because you don't want to end up going to a place and then being turned away. Make the ADR's. If you can't go or change your mind, just cancel and you'll be fine. Better safe than sorry.
