Please let it be nothing...It was! He's home! Update post 35

I am sitting here, with the kids, waiting for my DH to call.

He came home from work sick. So sick that he asked me to drop him at Urgent Care. I would have stayed but DD's bus was due to arrive soon to drop her off from summer school and we cannot leave her alone, nor under the care of her brother. due to the autism spectrum thing.

They sent him by ambulance to the hospital.

I am losing my mind here. Please let it be nothing, just some blood tests or something. I won't be happy about the ambulance bill but it's better than something happening to that man I love.

Do you have any friends or family or Church members who could come to your house and watch your kids so you can get to the hospital?

Can you call Urgent Care and get more information?

I would think that your health insurance would cover the ambulance bill.

I hope you can find someone to help you out with your DD so you can get over the hospital.

I hope that everything with your DH is okay and that you can find out what is wrong. Not sure how much info anyone will be able to give you over the phone.

Thanks everyone. I do have a friend/neighbor who can watch both the kids, I think everyone will be much happier if I feed them first. Make sure this is pretty much any other day for them.

I have to admit, my little family has been incredibly blessed with health. Since the kids were born, none of have been in a hospital.

I counted some blessings for that this afternoon. And, for now, no news is good news, but they are keeping him overnight for observation and more tests in the morning. Seems they want to make good and sure his heart is A-ok.

I told DS 11 the doc's wanted dad to have a sleepover with them. DS is quite the worrier and until I know more, that's about all I think he needs to know.

I just have to figure out what to do to help fill that big empty bed tonight. Maybe the cats will take pity on me and sleep there.
