Now I get to choose? You make sure I can't pick eel, snails, goose liver, etc. and then you let me choose. Hmmmmmmm.

I honestly do not care. You guys always do character meals and maybe you'd like to skip it--you guys finally get a chance to do grown up things and you should pick what you guys want to do. It's probably easier for me to talk Mo into a character meal than it would be for you guys to talk your children out of one. :rotfl:

I'd say that if you are not 100% sure that you'll be allowed to enter MK at 4:00, then it's probably a better idea to book at a resort. Unless us AP holders go in and pass turkey legs out through the fence to the rest of you.

I'll probably be renewing my DDE card while I'm there next month. That will get up to 10 people a 20% discount on all TS meals (which pretty much takes care of the mandatory tip). It's also good at Pop's food court too.

Tell Mo, that your grandson will LOVE the character meal and it will be a great memory. How can he say no to that?

:rotfl: Love those turkey legs! You're right, we shouldn't risk it.

That's for sharing your 20% with us.

When we went to the Pirate and Princess Party we were let in at 3:55 PM. There was a crazy line to get in but we were in! I did hear they are looking into changing it as being able to get in at 4 was not ever supposed to be advertised and well, let's face it the Dis is basically a big advertisement for Disney!

I like CP! Maybe we can get a ADR for just after 4, so that we are in the park as Sara wanted to be but staying out of the crowds. I kid you not, the idea of being in MK at 4 again is scary to me! It was the worst level of crowds I have ever seen, and yes I have been there on New Years Eve. Maybe this will be a good solution then :confused3

Not to throw another opinion out there, :stir: but I still like the early dinner at GF cafe better (if they serve dinner that early - maybe it's still lunch?)

It's somewhere different, plus it's at a resort, and if we can get an ADR around 4:00, then we won't be too late getting over to the MK (maybe 5:30 or so?). I still love the Crystal Palace, so if that is what the majority want, that's fine (I'm easy), but would love to do some things that I know I wouldn't probably do with kiddos!

BTW, the turkey leg through the fence thing had be rolling! I'm picturing it now. I'll go look at google maps and scope out all locations for food sneakage! :ssst: :tiptoe: :tiptoe: :ssst:

Sara

Sara, the GF cafe is also good for me. I think we threw that out there for the character interaction and to get into the park earlier.

GF Cafe is fine for me too. Aren't we a decisive group! You're right that we probably would never eat there with the kiddos. :thumbsup2
I don't care for the Pooh characters anyway! :snooty:
(Just kidding Monica!) :rotfl:

So what are you sayin' Michelle? You don't like to have Pooh for dinner? :lmao: :lmao:

That was lame, and yes, I know it! :goodvibes

Sara

Not to throw another thing out there, but the Wave restaurant at the Contemporary will be open then. Any takers on that one? :confused3 I don't think they have released an official menu yet though, have they?

No, nothing is out there yet. I hated the concouse so much, I have that bad memory in my head! I will wait until the menu comes out and maybe some reviews after june 30.

I saw a menu somewhere here on the DIS that someone had posted - not sure if it was correct or not but there was some strange stuff on it (sorry Pakey :flower3: ). I love the Contemporary though so I would still go!

Go Sara! I forgot, I did see that. I must have blanked it out
The menu is a bit strange, but the drinks do sound AMAZING!!

I'm Ok, just super busy. Can you believe that I actually have to WORK at work?! I'll be back later. GF cafe sounds great to me! I found Delta RT no layovers, perfect time, out of Cincy for $220. Should I hold out? It's like playing the stock market!

I saw that too! That is the flight that comes from Cleveland. I'm gonna say JUMP on it! That's a good price for Cincy!
