This is so scary, two storms like this in less than three weeks. My dad is heading out in the morning to secure/move his boat and belongings from their place above Tampa. "Better safe than sorry" is his motto. Me, my motto is "heck, if it's insured why risk your life for a few possessions". I guess that's the difference 29 years makes, huh? My thoughts and prayers are with you all! Hope Walt sprinkles some extra pixie dust and casts his magic bubble over everyone!

My thoughts and prayers have been with the people in Florida over the last several days. I went through Hurricane Hugo in 1989 - a scary storm to go through. Our weather forecasters in SC are still saying that we are not totally out of the woods on Francis. We should know definitely by tomorrow.

I'm not religous, but I'll be thinking about everyone in FL and keeping my fingers crossed that this isn't going to be as bad as it seems right now!
