Happy Birthday!
I'll be 50 on Friday.
Leaving DH & 3 kids at home while I celebrate with 2 friends at BWI 5/11 to 5/19. We're staying CL and doing TiW rather than DDP. We'll be at Flying Fish on the 12th and California Grill on the 16th.
We all work together and work has been so stressful lately. We are all so ready for this trip.
), staying at the same resort, leaving our husbands and kids behind (well, in my case 2 out of 3...yes, I have 3 kids too 
), and dining at two of the same restaurants on the same night. This could all be a mere coincidence, but I think it's more a case of..."Great minds think alike!" 
(from stress) on the 12th at Flying Fish, but by the 16th at California Grill look alot like this . 
We'll be at BCV same time. Seems we'll just be missing you at 3 different meals, including Teppan Edo - we'll be there for dinner on the 16th. Have a great time and Happy Birthday! What a great place to celebrate your 50th!!!
Too bad we will miss you at Teppan Edo though, as it would have been fun to share a table with people from here on the DIS boards. Anyway, I hope you have a great trip too. I see you will be there in just 5 days...how exciting!

I'm bringing my DGF for her first trip on the 12-19th, and we'll be at CG on the 16th for a 9:40 ADR. If you happen to spot a guy in his mid 20s sipping a 7&7 on the balcony during wishes, by all means say hello

Oh I have NO plans to look like that by the night of the 12th.Anyway, I'll be on the lookout for 3 ladies who still look a little like this

I've shared the www.partythroughtheparks.com website with my friends and one said I couldn't have 50 drinks just because I was celebrating my 50th but I reminded her she wasn't my mother.
I'm not much of a drinker at home but I've told them to be ready to drop off our bags after checkin and head right to France for the frozen Grey Goose slushie. I saw a photo of a "double" on the alcoholic photo thread. My kids are pretty young (12 (4 days after I get home), 10 & 8) so I don't tend to drink too much when traveling with them. So looking forward to this trip.

Excited to hear about Le Cellier, I'm going there during my trip in August '11!
I'm guessing DD might order the scallops, but we'll see. 
Oh, and I'm definitely having the crab cake for my appetizer again... I loved those! 
My "BIG 50" is in June - and I told hubby - no party - no present - I just want a week with him and I in WDW - and I want him to let me do the planning - so we are booked at the SWAN 9/14 - 9/20!!!
I've got ADRs for quite a few of the same restaurants, so I am looking forward to your reviews!

which is exactly the first year we do NOT already have another DCL or DLP trip planned for!
And the time of year coincides wondrously with my desire to see Christmas decorations at WDW!
I guess I will have to talk to DH about adding another ticker to my signature
Christmas is a wonderful time to visit WDW...the decorations in the parks and resorts, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 
, and the Candlelight Processional. I hope you are able to make it there for your 40th. 
Now for food they only have chips and salsa and/or guacamole. We got the chips and guacamole which was still the same as it was last trip and very good, but I was sooooo looking forward to the tostadas. 
I guess you have to go to San Angel Inn to get your tostada fix from now on. Also I noticed that the margaritas are now served in the same glasses as they are served at La Hacienda instead of the glasses we had on our last visit to La Cava in Nov. 2010. In other words, instead of looking like this...
Also the Blood Orange Margarita that we got yesterday looked and tasted very different from the one from Nov. 2010 pictured above. There was no longer foam on top and it didn't taste nearly as good to me. Luckily, DD liked it well enough though. On a positive note, I got to try the Avocado Margarita and it was absolutely delicious! Now this was my first time having it so I can't say whether or not it has also been changed, but I can say that it is now my favorite margarita at Disney World...and I've tried quite a few (at least six on this trip alone ). Another positive was that as we were finishing our margaritas, they brought us a complimentary Classic margarita. We went on a Wednesday right at noon when they opened the bar and were the only ones in there for awhile so that might have had something to do with the free drink.
