Please, is there another shoe to wear other than Crocs????

While I always take my Crocs to WDW.....I recently purchased the Teva Mush online....found a place where I got them for anywhere from $9.70 to $12.95 and ended up buying 5 pairs by the time I was all done (3 different shipments). I love, love, love these flip flops. I also ordered two pairs for DH ( he has never worn sandals in his life at the ripe old age of 49) and he was totally amazed at how comfy they are. He agreed that the "between the toe thingy" was not at all noticable. Come Sept. , I will be packing my Crocs and several pairs of Teva's!!!

PS... the Teva Mush are lightweight, but great arch support.

Great price on the Tevas, could you please give me the website?:)

Yes, they are down right hideous ugly, but they are friggin comfy. Just wear a bag over your head, no one will know who you are.

I love my teva mush flip flops. I heard about them on here and ordered them along with a pair of montrail molokinis for disney. The molokinis are slightly goofier looking (but still much better looking that those ugly crocs) but are heat molded to your feet. I think they are both GREAT. I got both from REI.com. Sometimes you can find good sales on both. I got last seasons colors of the tevas for 10 dollars. The men's version of the molokinis is the molokai if you want to look for a pair. They have them at different places, online shoes .com has them for 39 dollars, I haven't checked anywhere else lately, but rei.com has a decent clearance section and campmor.com has good deals usually too. Have fun....

Well, gee, just have her take them off before you get ready to make the baby. But don't refuse to be seen with her when she's wearing them or you may not get the opportunity to even try. . .:sad2:

:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

This cracked me up!!!

I wear Teva sport type sandals in the parks. Mine are now discontinued but they are very similar to the Terra Fi style. Ugly as sin, but so comfortable. I ONLY wear them in the parks because I hate the way they look! I also use bodyglide every day and after several trips to the world with them, I have yet to get a blister. I wear Teva flip flops (Mush and Olawahu) a lot too for shorter trips into park (after dinner etc) but if I wear them for a long day of walking, my feet/ankles get very tired after a while.

If you go to www.crocs.com you can find some really cute crocs.

Whats it matter if they are ugly anyway??? You are on vacation, and can sacrifice comfort for ugly! :confused3 I wear crocs, and my DH HATES them...until he put a pair of croc flops on...now he loves them. And his are really nice looking!

I would much rather be comfy in WDW than stylish anyway. I dont see what the big deal is!!! :lmao:

Ok, I bought a pair of Teva Mush (thanks so much for posting the link!) on-line for less than $16 WITH shipping. Ironically, in Sunday's paper, Dick's had them "on sale" for $21! I'm taking the plunge, and wearing flip-flops to DW! I never thought I'd say those words...

On the internet it doesn't matter. In real life, its all about being cool! :cool1:

Go to Zappos.com and search for J-41. They make the cutest and most comfortable shoes and sandals I have ever worn. They are like Keens in that they are comfortable to walk in all day but not as bulky and much more "feminine" looking. I'm not sure where else you could get them but Zappos has the best service of any online store I have used. I love my J-41's!

Naot's & Teva's. Naot's are super comfy, sexy (there's all diff. styles) but not necessarily good for getting wet & are $$$$-although this time of year you should be able to find some on sale. Bought Teva's for the first time this year & love love love them. Super comfy, can get wet & they're cute.
Crocs are comfy, but I can't stand the way they look either so I don't wear them in public ( i have a pair of target brand ones that I use at home;) )
But I finally got DH to buy a pair of crocs this summer & he really enjoyed wearing them at the parks. He said one of the best things was being able to go on something like Kali river rapids & not care if you're feet were soaked when you got off!

i swear by my Teva teri-fi's!!!! they are an amazing shoe, but they do need breaking in. if i get a new pair for disney i get them about 2 months before we leave and i never get blisters.....but i also always use blister block, so i would say its a combination of shoe and block.

I love my Tera-Fi's too! I even got DH to buy Teva's for our last trip and he is not a sandal guy at all. Our first trip he wore sneakers and got blisters, even with body glide. This time, no problems at all.

ok- the crocs with all the holes in the front ARE ugly- BUT that is only one style of crocs, and I also would not wear them... BUT I LIVE in my croc cleos! Just got them this past winter in FLorida and wear nothing else! Have several pairs and swear they are the most comfy thing I have ever worn.
I was a little concerned about wearing ANY kind of sandal to Disney- feel like I am going to have really dirty feet, but for comfort, I just may have no choice!
So, don't sell crocs short- they DO have nice looking ones!
CHeck out cleos then shop for a good price (mine were $29 in store and worth every cent)

I have to say that I love my crocs! We all wore them last year in Disney - even DH who has bad feet and is definitely not your "croc kind of guy!".
Sorry that I can't help!!
Kari

I just bought a pair of Merrell Barrado's with the mesh.

They are so comfortable with or without socks.

Okay so I am another one who HATEs crocs. We go every year to WDW and only got blisters the first trip in 2004. I usually take 2 pairs of sneakers and one pair of comfy loungy shoes. I rotate sneakers and wear comfy shoes while at the resort. I think this gives my feet breathing room and are not confined to one shoe. I also HIGHLY recommend KEEN shoes. Great support.
