We booked our first trip to WDW in October and not spilling the suprise is killing me!
I wanted to wait to tell the kids until 30 days before we go but I'm not sure I can!! How did everyone do it?! I almost slipped tonight at dinner talking to DH, told him I needed to pay for the flight this week. My DD asked what flight and I told her I said "fight" not flight since the DH is a boxer. PHEW..
So please help how do I keep this secret for 5 more months!:scared:

I've never tried to keep a secret like this, but my many days of reading the boards let me hear about others.
I think you have to find someone to talk to about the trip where you can chat all you want without your kids around. Plus - post a lot on the DIS boards!! We can help you through it! Then you can talk about it all the time and not worry!

My DD8 said she thought it would be cool to be surprised after I told her about some of my DIS friends surprises. So, we got an offer for a bounceback cruise deal and took it. She knew about that, but she doesn't know when we're going (12/3). So for now, we're keeping that part a secret. We still talk about our "next trip - someday". We just have to be careful about talking about details and definite plans when the kids are around. It's tough because we have my MIL and two SILs in a grand gathering with us for our WDW/3 day cruise trip and there are a lot of phone calls going back and forth!
I feel your pain- good luck!!!
