please help!!

I've been trying to put a picture into my signature and it is not working. I've been trying for so long!!
This is what I have put into the signature box

i have also tried these two as well

[address/img]

[address/img]

Can anyone out there help me out. I read the FAQ about this about i still can't seem to get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot

I'll try to help:

I did a copy and paste from the clip art primer in the FAQ thread here on the Tech Board. Here's the steps where you're going astray:

Type "" without the quotes

Paste the address with no space between the "[ ]" and the "h" in the address

Type "" immediately after your address without the quotes

so to give you a specific example - If my photo was at an address of 'my.photovault.org/picture1.jpg'

I would enter -
"]img]http://my.photovault.org/picture1.jpg[/img["

without the quotes, of course. I added the quotes and I reversed the direction of the hard brackets at the beginning and end of the example to make it show up in the body of this post, for an example.

So, reverse the brackets where I changed them to force it to show up and just put your address in between.

Remember that you should make a post here in the tech board putting your photo in the body of a post successfully BEFORE you try to put it in your signature. If you have a problem in the body of a post, it effects just that post. if you have a problem with it in your signature area, it effects ALL of your posts in the past as well as the one you're looking at.
