Please help!

Hey guys, This is the deal... I wanted to have a Disney world wedding but they are looking to expensive for the number of guest I have to invite. I was wondering if any of the disneyland brides know if it is less expensive in disneyland? If you have any information on prices I would be so grateful. I have to make a decision soon because I need to book something at home if I don't do Disney. Any advice will help!

There is a Disneyland FAQ at the top of the forum that might be of some assistance. Disneyland discontinued intimate weddings back in 2003 so that is not an option there. Events happening before 2pm, weekdays have a minium of ~$8k and prices go up from there. Hopefully someone will come along and correct me if I am wrong. For receptions starting before 2pm your fod and beverage minimum is ~$75pp.

The thing to remember with DL FTW is that there are not as many ceremony locations available. This might not matter to you, and the locations are both lovely..I'm partial to the Rose Court Garden, my ceremony location. To help with costs you can still use outside vendors for most things as long as you meet your minimums. I would contact FTW and speak to someone about your options as well as their thougyhts on what kind of wedding you are considering.

What does your guest count look like? We had approx. 120 guests, and an in-park reception, so I wouldn't really be able to help you out with costs. Our wedding was not quite your typical DL one...

Would you consider an intimate at WDW and reception at home? Sometimes I wonder if that would have been easier...lol Nah, we had a rockin' party and I wouldn't have had it any other way...

Thanks you guys... My guest like is around 85... I am just checking some options out... how much are the in park wedding just out of curiosity? Thanks again. I did contact ftw people and they sent me some prices the small wedding at disneyworld may be cheeper.
