Ok here's the deal my boyfriend and I are going to Disney for the first time and we will be staying at POP for 10 nights, plus we will be on the dining plan. However, 2 of those days we will be at Universal Studios.By the way we will be getting a 6 day park hopper. Can you please help me fill in the blanks for our other meals? Some restaurants we are considering are: Concourse, Grand Floridian Cafe, Yacht Club Galley. Can you please give me some reviews for these restaurants and some suggestions to others? Also, we are not really into dinner shows. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Our eating itinerary so far is as follows:
Sunday- day we arrive, Ohana's
Monday- Epcot, Le Cellier
Tuesday- MGM- 50s Prime Time
Wednesday-Magic Kingdom- Tony's Town
Thursday- Disney Quest, Epcot at night, Garden Grill
Friday- Universal Studios, ????
Sat- Universal Studios, ????
Sun-free day, ????
Mon- Animal Kingdom, ???
Tue-free day, ???
Wed- ???, depart at 6:00 p.m.

I'm still thinking of restaurants but do yourself a favor & get 10 day tickets. It's only a $7.00 difference from the 6 day.

AK day - Boma - I haven't tried it but most everyone here raves about it.

Tony's at MK is not a favorite of most.

I loved Kona at Polynesian,Spoodles at Boardwalk & Cape May Cafe at BC. Concourse was ok but its not a mustdo for me.

Most have enjoyed GF Cafe. I had horrible service last year but I'm willing to give it another try from what I read hear.

YC Galley - you don't hear much about this place.

Hope this helped & welcome to the boards!

:welcome:

Sunday- day we arrive, Ohana's - one of our must-do meals every trip
Monday- Epcot, Le Cellier - have eaten here once and it was good; we're not big steak eaters
Tuesday- MGM- 50s Prime Time - have eaten here twice and really enjoy it (although last time our server wasn't much fun)

Wednesday-Magic Kingdom- Tony's Town - have never eaten here; judging from the reviews I have read on here this restaurant seems to be one of those "either you love it or hate it" places. Crystal Palace is our favorite MK meal
Thursday- Disney Quest, Epcot at night, Garden Grill - haven't been since the menu change but we are going in June. The last time we ate there I couldn't stop raving about the salad. That was a couple of years ago and I still swear that was the BEST salad I have ever had
Friday- Universal Studios, ????
Sat- Universal Studios, ????
Sun-free day, ???? - this would be a good night to try the California Grill-we ate there on our first WDW visit and thought it was awesome. Mon- Animal Kingdom, ??? - What about Boma? I have read such great reviews about it that I convinced DH to give it a try in June
Tue-free day, ???
Wed- ???,
If you change your park tickets to 10 days then that would give you the opportunity to try a few more Epcot restaurants. There are lots of good choices in World Showcase. You might also consider some place on the Boardwalk or Beaches 'n Cream. Good luck :sunny:

We will be going in Oct. and like you we are also staying 10 nights at POP and going to US/IOA for 2 days. We though are getting 8 day passes because it is only a couple of $$ more (jjohnson is correct). We are going to just eat at US on the days we are going there. As for where else you should go I would suggest you try one or two signiture dining resturants (especially because you do not have children) We love the California Grill, it is just wonderful. I hear Victoria & Alberts is excellent (it may be hard to get an ADR) as well as Artist Point. I do not know anything about the places you were asking, but I havent heard anything really great about them on the these boards. Places you have already choose 50's PT and Le Cellier are two of fav's. For our Oct. trip we are going to try some new places (for us) Boma (gets very good reviews), Yachtsman (pretty good reviews), and Chef Mickeys (for the kids). I am sure you will enjoy your self where ever you choose. Have a wonderful trip.

At universal try Margerettaville
Also if you have a car on your free day try thr Boston Lobster Feast by the Florida mall
Germany is fun if you like the food
Have Fun and enjoy your first trip

We'll be back in May :bounce: :bounce:
