Hey gang! On average, if you're the first person on the bus, how long do you have to sit waiting for the bus to fill up before you leave? My DH is worried about sitting there for an hour before we leave.

Thanks in advance!

We waited about 15 - 20 minutes on our last trip in October. There ended
up only being 14 other people on the bus. Stopped at CBR, BW, and then our destination the BC. From boarding the bus to resort it was just under an hour, which I consider good!

We're headed back down tomorrow, so I'm hoping for the same or better scenario! ;)

Last week we were one of the first people on the bus. We waited about 15 or 20 minutes before we took off. It was an hour from the time our plane landed until the time we were checking-in at CSR (which was the second out of three bus stops.)

The point is that you don't wait for the motorcoach "to fill up before you leave." Your DH won't have to sit there for an hour before you leave.

Most DME motorcoaches leave with empty seats. The motorcoaches are needed back at WDW to pick up guests who are headed back to the airport.

Thanks everyone! My DH will be very happy to know this. :earsgirl:

There have been isolated reports here on The Dis of longer waits for the bus to fill up.

It is possible that other buses may be all be tied up and delayed on the way back to the airport, so the last bus still there has to take care of more people for the time being.

The buses are not supposed to be held longer than 30 minutes after the first guest has boarded.
