Okay, I am booked for June 22nd-29th..had been booked for Sept for free dining bounceback, DD 8 was just diagnosed with ADD and didn't want to remove her from school again..so we re-booked for the 7days for 4 deal...paid oop for ddp and sucked it up..but I just realized that we have a week off of work during free dining in Aug...
Plus list:
#1 It's not during the school year
#2 It's free dining
#3 It will be my birthday during our stay
#4 They would refund us over $500
#5 We can get the same hotel

Negative list
#1 It's during hurricane season
#2 The flights aren't as great and a little more expensive
#3 I would have to go through the whole rigamarole of ADR's again
#4 I would have to WAIT ANOTHER 3 MONTHS( a little problem with instant gratification!!)
#5 We would lose on our Photopass share

Okay, okay, I can see that it's pretty obvious, but seriously..I need to call on the powers of my DIS family!!!

Yep, I am just waiting for my husband to call on his lunch break to give me the go ahead, he just wanted to be sure we would get the refund. I am already looking into a new share somewhere else..and I am covered for my stroller swap which I forgot about too!! So far so good!!
Thanks for the opinion! It helps to put me in a happy place making this decision, I HATE making them!!LOL!!

I agree with the earlier poster. I would definitely switch to save $500. I understand the hard part about having to wait longer, but hey, the anticipation is almost as much fun as the trip!

I have a DD9 who is going through some problems at school and honestly the last thing they need is school disruption. I'd go during August and take advantage of Disney's pools!!

The $$ saved is worth it.
Hurricane season - hello it's a breeze and you'd be at Disney so hard tough would it be?
ADRs - isn't that part of the fun of planning?
Waiting gives you more shopping time!!
Photopass & flights - hey you're going to Disney!!!

Am totally in agreement with the others..........

As a mom of a ADHD child (he's really more ADD than hyper but they classify him as ADHD)...........the kid (mine) must have structure so I totally think you would do much better going in Aug.

BTW - we'll be there in Aug too at ASMu from Aug 15-22 so c'mon and join in the fun.

We did it!! Moved everything including the kitchen sink to August!! Got my stroller swap moved(minus a couple of days, no biggie) plus my car rental with minimum extra charge, disney is refunding us $546 so that will cover a photopass cd if we can't find a share, and my flights WILL come down in price!! So now I just have to break it to the DD8 who will be home from school in a couple of hours!!
Oh well, I'll just tell her we can go shopping with some of the money saved!

I just LOVE my DIS family!!
Now on to the planning!!

It's got to be hard enough being 8 and ADD, why ask her to miss school when she doesn't have to?
