Forgive me if this has been already talked about. We stayed WL when it first opened and had a great room, can't for the life of me remember room number and can't find the paper work. We are booked for a woods view. I would really appreciate a quiet room, don't care how much walking we need to do to get to our room (long halls, etc. don't bother us). I remember the last time we had a really long walk to our room, but it was very quiet. My husband has been battling cancer for the past year and I have had some health problem of my own. This trip is a quick 3 night stay and I would really really like some quiet after the parks. I know some people have reported their room has been very noisy, overlooking the lobby, etc. and this is making me very nervous. My son has been wanting to stay here again for years and he is so looking forward to this trip (we leave this week-end!). I would very much appreciate any help on which rooms to avoid, etc. Would a higher floor help? It seems like it would. Thanks so much.

DisneyMim,

I also travel with a DS who is chronically ill and HAS to have quiet when we return from the parks. I would call CRO and ask that you have your request added to your reservation. I would then politely ask again at check-in, explaining why it is so important to have quiet. This has always worked wonders for us. I also usually tell them that we don't mind a long walk as well. One CM told me this was one of resort guests most frequent complaints so they actually try not to give you a long walk if the resort is at a lesser occupancy rate. If they know you are willing to walk etc, I have found them to be incredibly helpful in getting us a quiet room. I'm sorry I can't remember our exact room numbers from WL either but I know both were woods view rooms. I hope I've helped. Good luck and much wellness to your DH.

Densgirl, thank you so much for your quick reply. Yes I think I will say something when we check-in about needing quiet. I think you are on to something about the long walk. Most people don't want to do it and I can understand why. I am hoping for the best. Thanks again and I hope your son is doing OK.

We have found the most quiet rooms are woods view and overlook the Villas you actually take a seperate elevator than the ones in the main lobby and it does seem to be a little more quiet there. Hope you have a great stay.

We had room 4010 Feb 3-8,2005, we couldn't believe a Disney hotel could be so quiet! It is a woods view, you can see the castle between the trees! (No leaves in Feb.) and the water parade at night! Have Fun!
