When you do the silver add on to the dream maker package...

What are the restaurants that you can eat at for lunch or dinner - table service for 2 wishes?

Do you have to use a wish for the preferred seating at Wishes/Jammin Jungle/Illuminations? or are they are automatically included in the silver addon?

and what are the counter restuarants for lunch and dinner?

Thank you

We did the silver add on package on our last trip - loved it - and plan on it for our trip in 2 weeks.

The parades and firework viewings do not require using wishes, they are a part of the package.

For a good discription of the restaurants and other things that you can use your wishes on, visit the Disney site. If you go to the section on tickets and reservations, you will find a link to the package details. (I would post the URL but every time I try, my Internet quits - sorry)

Do not use your wishes on counter service - it is not worth it. Go to expensive places. We plan it out carefully so that we get more than our monies worth out of each wish.

Let me know if you have any more questions on the wishes.

jenanderson is right on the money! Preferred viewing for the parades and fireworks are included in the package. And just like she said you can find the list on Disney's site. Here's the direct link:

We're using the silver add-on for three nights in January. With our twelve wishes we're seeing the Cirque du Soleil (two wishes each), Hoop Dee Doo Revue, Spirit of Aloha Luau, and are going on the Keys to the Kingdom tour (includes lunch) and the Hidden Treasures of Epcot tour. Doing a little pencil-pushing we would that we will be saying over $150 by using the package instead of paying for things individually.

If we do the add on we have already decided on Cirque du Soleil, Hoop de Doo and Spirit of Aloha.

We were trying to decide what else. I have been to the Disney site but it only says:

(2) Lunch or dinner at selected Walt Disney World® signature table service restaurants (including applicable gratuities, excludes alcoholic beverages)

It doesn't specifiy which restaurants. I am allergic to all seafood (not just shellfish), so any of the restaurants that specialize in seafood are out.....even if they have other choices they are usually prepared on the same surface or with the same utensils, or washed in the same sink/dishwasher.

I wanted to make sure there was more than one place we could eat, then we would use our wishes for dinner, after the parks had closed.

Does anyone know which restaurants you can use?

I also have the Silver Plan. I am trying to plan as you experts suggest!

We will be at staying 6 six nights (1/7 - 1/13) and thus have 24 wishes. I have a few of questions:

1. At restaurants can I use one wish to order my meal and then share with my DD4? She would not eat enought to justify purchasing a child's meal and since you get an app, entree, and dessert that should be plenty for the two of us. This will really impact my planning. I understand that at any buffets, I would need to pay for her and could not share.

2. Can I book the Fantasmic dinner package using wishes?

3. It seems the list of Disney Merchandise is somewhat shorter for 2004. Anyone know if I can still get the Wilderness Lodge Lincoln Logs? Would this even be a good deal?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Do you have a link for the Gold Plan? My fiance and I are honeymooning in WDW in May for 10 days on the Gold Plan and although we've already booked, we have yet to see such a thorough description of the plan. We would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks!

Does anyone know if the silver plan can be added on after the package is purchased?

When I did the silver package for three nights, here's how I did on my wishes:

Keys to the Kingdom tour--$60
Undiscovered Future World tour--$50
Dinner at Wolfgang Puck's--$60
Dinner at LeCelliar--$38
Dinner at Alfredos--$43
Photo box--?? value

I paid $217 for those wishes, and I spent $251 + the value of the photo box.

I think the best meal of the trip was at Wolfgang Pucks. It's definitely the place to get the best value for a single wish meal.

first
last summer we used our wishes to do the dinner package at brown derby

i dont think the resteraunt will mind you sharing with daughter.
last summer my wife and i would sometimes just order one meal with one wish and share it. i am a big guy but that is still a lot of food for one person. i dont think anyone will mind.
where are you staying first? i hope you have a great time.
let us know how the trip goes and if you have any more questions someone here on the boards will have the answer.

We added on the gold plan after we'd made our reservations, but before we made the final payment for our trip.

Do you need to make reservations for this in advance or when you get there?

We have the silver plan (we're staying 8 nights)
I see that we can see various parades and firework shows but need to know if I need to book a reservation in advance before we get down there? Or do we just show up at the parade and go to a special section?

any help would be appriciated.

Does any one know if you can use your wishes to buy dinner for another couple. There are 4 of us and we will be meeting my parents for dinner. I would like to buy them a really nice meal with a couple of my wishes. According to the web site you can use them any way you want, even all of them in 1 day.:earseek: So we would probably use 5 wishes on our dinners as my daughter would share from my plate. (I don't see how I could possibly eat all that food at one time.)princess:

I am almost certain the list of 2 wish locations has changed for 2004. :(

Based on Disney's Web site (search 2004 silver plan) the 2 wish locations are now:

Alfredo's, Artist Point Dining, Bistro de Paris, California Grill, Citricos Restaurant, Coral Reef Restaurant, Flying Fish Cafe, Fulton's Crab House, Jiko – The Cooking Place, Narcoossee's Restaurant, Portobello Yacht Club, Wolfgang Pucks and Yachtsman Steakhouse

I know some of these were 2 wish locations in 2003.

Also, the list of merchandise for 2004 is smaller than 2003 (no WL lincoln logs).

BTW the web list the same info for 2003 and 2004 (maybe since 2003 is almost history). The updated list affects wish usage planning.

Good questions.:)
Our family will also be using the silver plan. Does anyone know the places for viewing "Wishes" and the parades, as Mickey Jammin Parade at AK? Also viewing areas are included if one books through AAA. Does anyone know if the viewing areas are the same for AAA and the silver plan?
Thanks Rachael for letting me use your Thread to ask some more questions!
Happy New Year Everyone:)

There is only one viewing area for each event, so yes AAA & Silver
plan people go to the same place

Yes you must make a reservation in advance for these special viewing areas. Space is limited [especially for Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade] so they must have your name on a list for that viewing. If you have your confirmation cards already there should be a phone number on them for you to call. I recommend you do this as soon as possible [more so if you are going in peak or holiday season]

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes you can. I did this last May. Just be sure to tell them at the restaurant when you check in that you have the Fantasmic package so they will give you the tickets for the show and give you directions to the special entrance.
