ONLY HAVE TWO DAYS AT PARK.....SATURDAY APRIL 23rd and SUNDAY APRIL 24th. 2 ADULTS, 1 10year OLD BOY....WHICH TWO PARKS SHOULD I SEE. WE DONT REALY NEED TO SEE MK.
IS EBCOT GOOD FOR SUNDAY?
IS MGM WORTH SPENDING AWHOLE DAY THERE, AND ARE THE RIDES ANY GOOD?

PLEASE SHARE YOUR ADVICE, I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IT :grouphug:

MGM is a great park and so is MK. For rides and shows they are the best! Epcot is more educational and interesting for adults. :bounce:

Have you been to Magic Kingdom before? I just wonder why you say you don't need to see it. Its an awesome park with the BEST rides, Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Mickey's Philharmagic, The Haunted Mansion etc.

Magic Kingdom would be #1 on my list!

As for the second day it depends on your likes. Epcot is educational with some rides thrown in. You have all of the countries to see.

MGM is a smaller park but has some great rides and shows. Tower or Terror, Rock N Rollercoaster. Both are extreme rides so it depends on how brave your 10 year old is.

Animal Kingdom is also smaller but is loads of fun. Animals both live and animatronic, Expedition Everest Coaster, Its Tough to Be A bug 3D show and the Safari .....oh and Kali River Rapids!

My personal choice would be Magic Kingdom and Epcot
My 14 year old son says the same thing....LOL! MGM running a close second.

My kids loved MGM: They went on Star tours a bunch of times and the shows there Indiana Jones and Lights, Motor, Action are great! Plus my kids loved Toy story so we had to eat at the Pizza Planet!!
The Back Lot tour was fun too. Epcot was a little much for my kids because it is so big and there is a lot of walking!
Magic Kingdom is our favorite though. We spent three days there and still did't get to enjoy everything offered.

Here is a link to a site that shows the crowd levels for the days you will be there. Just scroll down to the date chart, and find your days. Then it will tell you which are the best parks to go to that day, which to avoid, and how crowded those days are. Hope this helps you decide.

**NOTE: I would NOT skip MK. Trust me on this. It is the best one. You can't go to WDW without going to MK once. Your 10 yo will love it too. Don't think it is too 'kiddy', cause it's not.

I asked my 9 year old son, which 2 parks he would choose and he said Magic Kingdom and MGM (he 1st said only 2 parks??? spoiled, isn't he :lmao: )

I would go to the Magic Kingdom on Saturday and Epcot on Sunday. Make sure your plan to get to the park gates about 15-30 minutes before the park opens. You can get a lot more done in the first hour or so than the next 3-5 hours. Really.

Just to let you know ... ALL CAPS is considered SHOUTING on internet boards. I know that as a newbie you were not aware of that :). ALL CAPS ALSO MAKES A MESSAGE REALLY, REALLY HARD TO READ ;).

I can't even imagine skipping MK! It is my absolute favorite. I would have to recommend MK and AK - my kids (13 yr old boy and 10 yr old girl) love both. They endure EPCOT. They like MGM, but it really doesn't take a whole day to do.

Have a magical time!

Sunday is actually a really good day for Epcot. On weekdays you get a lot of school groups. We always hit Epcot on Sunday.

That being said, I'm not sure I would recommend Epcot in my top two for your group. Lots of walking, and my boys, who are 15 and 13 now, never really warmed up to the whole world showcase thing. They preferred, at that age, roller coasters, thrill rides and special effects. For this, you can't beat MK and MGM. I'm not sure why you say NO to MK; it's not for little kids only. Don;t believe those Universal Studios commercials. :) I think you'de be happy you changed your mind.

I really appreciate your replies. NOT SHOUTING ANYMORE......sorry. I think MK maybe the way to go on Saturday now. Still think my son will enjoy Ebcot Sunday. He likes rides, but also science type things. Not to worried about Ak, only because we will be going to Bush gardens a few days later...Animals and all.

Keep the replies comming....I really appreciate the information

Mike
