Please help with Mickeys BYBBQ change

So I had made reservations for the Backyard BBQ for Saturday May 5th. We are on the dining plan and that takes 2 table service credits. I am thinking of cancelling it because we already are doing Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace. I don't think it worth the table credits and I am not sure we will like it. We have paid enough out already for the trip so I don't even want to pay for it off plan either because then I would really have to hear from the hubby if we only make it 30 minutes at the place.

My son has Autism and he does thrive on high action but I DON'T(mother hen syndrome). It sounds like this event is very wild and packed.

The other thing is my sister and her family are coming for that weekend and don't want to spend the money on the BBQ as it's more for the younger audience.

She will be at FW and we will be at the WL. I just tried to get dinner at WCC for that day instead and the only thing open is 8:20.

Any suggestions of where to go Saturday night (if I can even get in at this point)?

We are doing AK in the morning/afternoon and want to go somewhere near the resort for dinner. We are already doing Artist Pointe later in the week and are looking for a kid friendly place.

I really like "ohana at the Poly. Another option is Trails End at FW. And after eating you could check out the campfire with Chip and Dale. Have fun with whatever you decide

We are probably going to hang with the family at FW Friday night to grill. Hopefully we can do the campfire then.

I have read that Trails End is very good I was thinking Kona Cafe. I saw a very good review and very yummy looking pictures. But then I don't want it to be too expensive for my sister because they aren't on the dining plan.

I am checking out the menus now.

Well ~ I did it. Cancelled the BBQ and I am using those credits for Kona Cafe instead and then we will use the other credit for Whispering Canyon Cafe later in the week.

I can't stand the wait! 32 more days!!!!!
