I'm hoping someone can help me decide what size Heely's to get for my daughter for Christmas.

She is almost 8 years old and has:
a pair of Sketchers sport shoes in size 3 1/2 where her toes touch the end
a pair of tennis shoes from Payless in size 3 that fit well
a pair of Reebok soccer cleats in size 4 that fit well
Crocs in size M3/W5 which are a little big.

I ordered Heelys in size 4 youth/5 womens but now I'm worried that she will be disappointed on Christmas because they are too small or that she will outgrow them quickly.

Should I keep the 4's or exchange them for 5's and hope she's not disappointed because they are too big? The style she wants doesn't seem to come in 1/2 sizes.

Thanks for any input!

i just brought a pr for my dd for xmas too.. i was told that they run small so to buy one size larger. hth

my son wears a size 5 1/2 sneaker ( Nike) and he wears a size 6 in Heely's, he has room in them, so I think you should be ok with the 4

It's so hard to help with shoe sizes because they just seem to vary so much.

My DD just turned 8 and for the most part wears 1 - 2 in shoes.
I thought she was solidly into a size 2, but the last couple of pairs we bought were a 1 (converse high tops) and a 1 1/5 (payless boots)

Her Heely's are a size womens 4/youth 3

HTH a little

I got my sons at Bob's stores. They were on sale but I don't remember how much they were on sale for.

I just bought my Godson a pair for his birthday this weekend. He wears a size 5 in regular shoes and the salesman at FootLocker measured his feet and urged me to buy the size 6 for him. I'm glad I didn't just buy them but rather got an "expert" to size him first. Now I know that he can wear them for awhile.

I urge you to buy ONE FULL SIZE up from what your daughter is wearing. Heely's run small, and fit snug. My son is 9 years old, and I bought him heely's a few months ago. He wears like a 3 1/2 shoe size, but his heely's are a 5. They were not overly large so they would flop or anything....and for that price, I am sorry - but a little big is fine. It is cheaper to buy an extra sock to wear than the Heely's themselves!!

I bought ds8 a pair over the summer, the only size available left in the store close to his size was a 3, I worried they would be too big because we had just bought a pair of van sneakers a month before size 2 I think? Well the heeleys fit fine! The look huge on his feet, but he has plenty of room to grow, which is a good thing because they cost me $80!!! :scared1: (We got them at Dicks)

Thanks for the input! After reading all the comments here and on the Zappos.com site I've decided that the only safe thing to do is order both sizes! I'll wrap the 4's from Santa and the 5's from Mom & Dad. If the 4's are tight I can slip the 5's under the tree and tell her I wasn't sure if Santa would bring them so I got some to be safe. Thanks to Zappos 365 day return policy and free shipping both ways I don't think I can lose.

My DD wears a 3.5 and we have size 4 womans and she is ready for the next size they are getting small.

i would include a card in her gifts that say good for one pair of helelys and you can buy with her trying on the shoe. :cheer2:
