Hi

I know a few of you are great with finding deals, I know it sounds like passing the buck but need help :(

Leaving 11th or 12th September, need to get Honolulu but want overnight stay on route to break up flights. Would prefer 12th

Then home vancouver to uk

I know to look multi city and have been looking kayak but can't seem to find a deal

Notice on way back can do vancouver to la to london but it makes it much longer flight

Wondering how long takes/easy get vancouver to Seattle

I know say Dublin involved but would need original flight from london etc

There is bristol to Dublin then next day Pearson then vancouver but long stay at Pearson

Any advice would be appreciated and I feel so cheeky asking :(

How are you planning to get to Vancouver?
When are you returning?
Assume 2015?

Sorry :( :(

Hoping to do disney cruise which is Honolulu to vancouver

PIF is tomorrow and I am freaking out flight prices

Yes sorry 2015

Basically cruise is Honolulu 17th September end up vancouver on 27th

I would like few days in Honolulu beforehand and was hoping to leave uk on 12th

I don't mind where fly to for overnight as only to break up flight if that makes sense

Any tips?

Now i miss package holidays lol

Exeter or bristol would be fab if Dublin etc involved

now many travelers and do you plan to return the day the cruise docks in vancouver

Best I can see with additional stops is about £976 is on orbitz - but only check that site will check a few other if those times/stops seem ok

LON- VANCOUVER 12TH O/N
VANCOUVER - HON 13TH
VANCOUVER - LON 27TH

Two adults
Was hoping to come home day of cruise but late afternoon/eve
Trip to vancouver was hoping morning flight
Same with hawaii

Just looked kayak
Bristol with two stops, one overnight Dublin but then seven hours in Pearson which not keen on

That just vancouver and back but air canada does vancouver to Honolulu

what price are you getting so I know if what I find is any good £976 is the best I can find with no additional stops.

£860

lon- toronto direct (overnight here)
toronto- hlu with 1 stop ord 1hr 18mins
Vancouver- lon direct

Assuming return is 28/9...

United have £799 but no overnight stopover on the way. 2.5 or 5 hour connection in SFO, or 5 hours at LAX on the outbound leg. Connect at LAX on the return (28/9).

For the same price you could leave on 11/9 and have 11 hours at Newark airport (also available on 13/9) or 15 hours at San Francisco. On 12/9 you can have 13 hours in Dulles.

If you wait until 15/9 it's £779 for most of the above combos.

Alternatively for £871 you can have Air Canada with 6 hours in Vancouver on the outbound journey if you fly 11/9, 12/9 or 13/9 and direct on the way back on 28/9. If you fly out on 14/9 it's £851 for that combo.

All from LHR. Book direct with the airline.

It may be worth looking at flying from dublin and just adding on cheep flights to dublin as flights from there are only about £513 with o/n in toronto (yvr)

Even at those prices, there's no way you'd convince me to fly to Dublin, fly BACK ago London, then fly out again...both ways! 31 hours from Vancouver to Dublin and then you've got to get back to the UK!

maybe not lol - but you do not need to do the last back to dublin you just request at check in for London - but even then I would also prefere the lon- tor-hnl van- lon one

I just wanted to make sure that you were looking at the right airport codes. Toronto Pearson's airport code is YYZ, not YVR which is Vancouver.

What think this one please

IS STOPOVER ENOUGH?

LHR 10.05
Vancouver 11.35
Stop over one hour 25

Vancouver 13.00
LA 15.53

On way home direct from vancouver

340 pp cheaper than BA
BA is direct both ways and world traveller on way home

Will use avios points for LA to HON

The one hour, 25 minute layover in Vancouver might not be enough. The customs/immigration lines in this airport can be nightmarish if you hit them at a time when many international flights are arriving. I personally have waited over 1 hour, 15 minutes there, the longest wait I've had in any airport.

Since you're clearing US immigration in Vancouver, I'd consider 90 minutes as a bare minimum.
Any US entry connection with less than 2hrs is outside of my comfort zone.

I agree that 1.5 hours is cutting it too close in Vancouver. Due to the high volume of Alaskan cruise passengers going through customs, I 'd feel more comfortable with 2 plus hours for a layover. (Sept is the end of the cruise season and you will still feel an impact from their passengers.)

You also asked about Seattle. It's a good 3 hour or so drive from Vancouver but a short half hour or so flight.

Good luck and happy planning! I'm envious!!

Hi

I am still looking as prices went up alot overnight and the layover too short

With air canada do they ever have a sale or reduce flights nearer the time if lots seats left?

Have no idea with air canada

Looking now to do all direct flights

Thanks :)

Air Canada generally don't have major sales (does any airline?!) And broadly speaking the later you leave it, the more you pay, but there seem to be no hard and fast rules with fares.
