Please help with fashion question!

Ladies, I need some help. I am not very fashion conscious at all. I bought a beautiful new navy blue suit and I need to know what color nylons and shoes to wear. I have black shoes and off black hose, but I am not sure they look right. Do I need to buy navy shoes?

oh the colored hose would be a big no-no.
i'd think black shoes would be ok, guess i'd have to see it first.

Nude hose and black shoes.... maybe if that's the only option....

I've only ever worn navy shoes and either navy or cream colored hose (I don't like nude ones) with a navy suit. You can get a good deal of use out of navy shoes so they're a good wardrobe staple. If you don't want to get new shoes then I'd stick with the black and light colored hose.

When I wear my navy suit, I wear buff hose and navy shoes.

my choice would be either cream or travel buff (hanes color) with navy shoes. would wear black shoes in a pinch, but would really spend the money on a pair of navy ones.

If you are vertically challenged (short!) the best look is navy hose and navy shoes. It doesn't break up the line of your outfit and make you look taller. If you are taller I think that you could go for nude hose and black or navy shoes.

I remember many years ago having a navy suit and trying to find navy shoes. I had the hardest time, all the shoes that year were another color, not navy. I finally bought a pair and paid a fortune.

IMOA, if they are cald pantyhose, why are you wearing panyts under your pantyhose?

because otherwise you would have to wash your nylons (what I call them) with every wearing!
Another big vote for nude/navy

Navy shoes with taupe/nude hose. Too much chance for color mismatch if you wear navy hose as well IMHO.

I don't like black shoes with a navy outfit--I think it clashes. (Generally dont like black shoes with a brown outfit either, JMHO.)

I wear something under my hose, but I also wash them every time I wear them. In a lingerie bag on delicate in the washer and line dry. I also have a few pairs of Spanx which I don't wear anything under--LOVE those things!!

If you are going to wear any hose color other than nude, then your hose should match your hem, I would go navy hose and shoes or nude hose and navy shoes.

The other question, I don't wear panties under panty hose, but then again, I don't wear pany hose very often. I think the last time I did was several years ago. Here, we normally don't wear them, even with suits. It's just too dang hot, and no one cares.
