I am seeking any and all help in deciding which park to take my family to. Last year we went to the world for the last time and spent a day at the MK park. This year we are returning and had planned on going to AK park for something different and since we have a new addition (will be 6 month old son) so we won't be able to go on any rides all together. I was worried that it wouldn't be special or different enough as we go to the zoo alot and so the kids (ds9 & ds6) aren't that cracked up over all the animals any more. I know it's "not a zoo" but I was still worried. Then I saw that while we will be there in the first week of November, that park closes at 5pm.Since we can only afford to go to one park one day ( we are also going to Sea world) then I am now thinking maybe we should go back to MK or maybe to epcot. Someone please help me decide which park they think is best for me, DH, DS9, DS6 and DS 5months. THANK YOU SOO MUCH!

Animal Kingdom has great shows... Nemo, Pocohontas, Lion King. However, if I only had 1 day, there is no choice better than Magic Kingdom. You can bring the baby on tons of the rides and attractions there. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but aren't infants allowed on most of the rides in Fantasy Land, like Pooh, snow white, peter pan? Plus you can do philharmagic all together, pirates haunted mansion. I don't know all of these for sure, but I know a year or 2 ago, there was a long list of things that you can bring your infant on. We are not big fans of the zoo elements at animal kingdom because we have a great zoo nearby, and my dd gets bored with that pretty quickly. We also aren't that into Epcot. We go there for select activities, but we aren't in to shopping, drinking or sampling food, so the countries aren't that fun for us. If you want the Disney experience in 1 day, I think it has to be MK. None of the other parks compare in my opinion.

Definately MK! There are a ton of rides you all can go on as a family!! We have taken our kids since they were 8 months old and we had a ball! It was easy to just put the baby in a Baby Bjorn carrier(or any one you may have) and go on the attractions. There really is only a handful of "thrill" rides at MK, so you will have a lot of great things to do! Here are some links that might help you:

It seems that there is maybe 5 things you might have to skip as a family, and that is not a lot! Personally we don't care for AK. We go to WDW every year and usually do AK every 3rd trip. We went in April and will be skipping it in Nov. I think if I only had 1 park to choose as a family it would definately be the MK, and we are a family who loves Epcot(my kids are 9 and 4)but still MK would get my vote.

Just an FYI, multiday tickets are not that much more and you could also get a hopper and do MK during the day and Epcot at night. Here's a link to help with tickets:

I don't want to sound pushy but I can't imagine only going to 1 park!LOL;) Oh, don't forget the baby is FREE!!

Ok, Definatially Definatially Magic Kingdom!!!!!!! If you have a 6 Month Old son, YOu have to go to Magic Kingdom! You can still do stuff like Peter Pan And Pooh And all the stuff in Fantasyland. And maybe if your group wants to, you could do a kid swap at some of the bigger attractions. IF you don't already know that means, it's when you ask a castmember and you get special fastpasses and one of the adults or older children stay with your son, and the when the rest of your family comes back, the person watching your son goes on and another member of your family watches him! It's awesome. But deffinatially go to Magic Kingdom.!

:grouphug: :yay: :rotfl:

I would say MK. We went in 03 for 7 days and did all the parks. We are going this year for 4 and not doing AK at all. The shows are great but other than that, we will wait to go back.
