please help w. a basic US hotel question

I have seen several US hotel ads which quote a rate per person, like "hard rock for $129 per night per person" Now when everyone on this board talks about fan club, entertainment book, AAA, etc. rates, are THOSE rates per person as well or not? is the general rack rate per night per person, but discounted rates different?

When we stayed at HRH in a deluxe room for $150/night with entertainment card it was for the whole family( that is per room).

I think the rates you see at per person include tickets.
