Please help .....VWL or BWV

Planning a trip to the world and not sure which resort to pick. Both r available. My wife and I love the boardwalk arear but I think the VWL will be much more convenient since we will be visiting the magic kingdom mostly. My kids 3 and 4 love to swim and the waterslides so can u please let me know which pool is better for the children. Thanks

I think that you answered your own question, VWL is more convenient if you are spending most of your time at the MK. The pools are about equal.

The VWL pool slide is far more child friendly for a 3 & 4 yo than the BWV slide which is taller, longer, faster and I frequently see lifeguards hopping in to help kids out.
Save BWV for when they're a little bit older and they can fully enjoy it

Also - the buses from/to BWV/MK are shared among many resorts (read: crowded, longer ride). VWL has boats directly to the dock at MK. It just doesn't get better than that I guarantee you'll fall in love with the sound of the boat horns.

The boat to the MK from WL and VWL is my favorite transportation at Disney World.

We love both resorts! The Epcot area is the best, IMO, but, the WL is just so fabulous! Since you will be primarily visiting the MK, I would definitely go for the VWL! Your kids will love it! It's not too spread out either, which is important with little ones! Have a blast

BWV is incredible when the focus is on DHS/EPCOT, but VWL wins hands down for a visit focused on MK.

as the kidlets get older, they (and you) will probably want to explore the other parks more.

This is exactly why we have points at both resorts and split many of our stays. MK days at VWL and Epcot/DHS days at BWV.

Who needs stressful decisions like that in their life???

While we own at VWL but not BWV, I would agree that BWV is a better overall resort when visiting WDW, but in your case with pre-schoolers and spending the majority of your time at MK, then VWL is your best choice.

You will find VWL quieter and more laid back than BWV which is just what you want with pre-schoolers.

I agree with the majority here. The boat ride to MK is great and the pools are nice!

We love both resorts, but I would sway to VWL for MK proximity, pool slide less intimidating, a little more peaceful(mom and dad will appreciate this).

VWL seems to be where you want to stay as you spend more time at MK then Epcot. Nice problem to have and wish I was in your shoes.
