Please help us pick an AK Restaurant - DxDp

We would love to get one that includes tickets to the River of Lights showing (I think I read somewhere that some restaurants have this option?).

Here's the problem. DH is a VERY picky eater. Like plain steak, chicken, no fish at all, no veggies, no salad, no sauce on the food, and if seasoning - salt/pepper will be just about it. DD is another one that would be thrilled with simple things like chicken nuggets/hot dog/mac n cheese. So is there any place in AK that has simpler food but also non-picky eater food? DH said its ok to go where i want and they'll find something elsewhere either before or after, but I dont want to be the only one at the table eating.

I've looked at menus and not really finding anything there (except at Rainforest Cafe). Help!!

Not if you want the River of Light Dining package.

For something like that look at Pizzafari or Flaming Tree BBQ (ask for no sauce).

Tusker house has mac and cheese, corn dog nuggets, carved meats, mashed potatoes, lots of simpler items. It's a buffet so there's lots of choice (and really cute characters). They are also doing dining packages.

I love Tusker House, but thats pretty expensive to go just for the simply items. I mean, if you've got one or two in a large party I'd say go for it but when the majority of the party wants something simple that would be a hard price tag to pull off and justify. Not a knock on TH because it's my favorite character meal anywhere, I just don't know if it's worth it.

Yeah I agree, it was my fave too btw. But from the title I'm assuming OP means they have the deluxe dining plan? I think it would be worth it if they have a lot of credits and want the ROL dining package as well.

We are trying Tusker with the ROL package. DM seems like your DH, OP, and at least she can eat off the kids buffet if needed. DH and I can be a bit more adventurous and DD eats like her grandma. At least with Tusker everyone can find something to make them happy. Plus characters and the ROL package. Worth it for us.

No brainer- Tusker House. Tiffins will be too exotic and Tusker House has something for everyone- plus characters!

Yes- characters for all meals (B,L & D) at Tusker House. All fun- all good! Honestly, we have never missed a meal there- its fun, food good, servers are prompt, and who doesn't like hanging with Mickey & Friends!

We have the dxdp and got a lunch ressie to Tusker House with the ROL package. I also have very picky eaters but I figure they'll find something...it's a buffet, after all.
