Please Help Us Decide About Dates

My husband and I are planning a trip to the world with both sets of parents. We are planning to go after Thanksgiving and before christmas. My question is which is better the earlier time right after Thanksgiving or the later time departing before schools begin their christmas vacations. We are planning to go for at least ten nights.

The Monday after Thanksgiving through about Dec 18th is the best. We arrived on the 15th, and every day after that, there were more and more people. By the 23rd, it was very crowded. It's a beautiful time of year to go.

We arrived the weekend after Thanksgiving and it was wonderful!! Hardly any crowds at all!! We're going back the same time this year!!!

Looking at the touring plans website, http://touringplans.com/BestDays.htm , crowds look minimal from about Nov. 28 to Dec. 15. I have personally been in mid December and it was wonderful. No lines, pleasant weather, all and all a great trip.
