I've been hearing that the crowds the last couple of weeks were quite large for October. Am keeping my fingers crossed it was because of school breaks. I will be there Weds. through Friday. For anyone going on Mon. or Tues. can you tell us what the crowds are like? TIA! I know that we will have fun no matter how busy it is!

this past tuesday was busy, with early entry crowds halfway to california adventure in the esplanade. thursday was even worse. the cm's are saying that arizona kids have the week off. the week before was hawaii. i saw a lot of people from utah this week also. today (friday) has been very busy, after 4 rides today in as many hours, my daughter and i called it quits.

Hi, we've been here since Tuesday, going home tomorrow. Crowds have been horrible this week. Tuesday and Wednesday was probably the best days. Yesterday was bad too. Today was just awful though. Wall to wall people. We even heard CM's saying it hadn't been this crowded in months. We were here in June and it wasn't nearly crowded as it is now. From what we saw this week, I'd expect big crowds next week too.

I called it quits pretty early today myself. My son and DH used FP's for a few rides tonight, but even they couldn't handle the crowds after that. Even Pooh's line was huge all week!!! I honestly have never seen it so bad, especially for October.

I so agree.. We went on Wednesady for a few hours and there was a line for Pooh.. Pooh never has a line... So we are going back on Sunday. Hope it isn't all that bad...

Hopefully everyone has left by now.

Many socal elementary schools had this last week off, my kids did. I heard a lot of people at school talking about their plans to go to DL this week, and I saw quite a few of them there. Every fall some of the schools in the area take a week off for their fall break.

Thanks for the info -- yikes :scared1: I'll be interested to hear about the crowds on Mon and Tues. TIA.

We'll be there Sunday - Wed 10-15 thru 10-18. I'll report back on crowd levels by next Friday. My notes say that O.C. schools had these first two weeks off, so we're keeping everything crossed that it will be light again this week. Especially since there are no MHT's on any of those days. The golden rule for us is to never go when schools are out.

Half of AZ schools were out this week. The other half (including the very large Scottsdale Unified School District) is out next week. I know of 3 families going next week.

lines are still pretty short with the except of Splash Mt (60 min wait)

Thanks to all who have replied so far -- bumping so those who go in the next day or so can give us an update . . .

We were there Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday last week. The lines for Nemo were horrendous, even first thing on EE days. The lines for EE were very long on Thursday, but we were in the park at 9:00 sharp. We waited an average of 20 minutes per ride. I've seen worse.

Wow:eek: . I hope it's not that crowded when I go.:scared: I mean, it should be less crowded in a month right? I'm going on Nov. 14-20. Do you think it will be crowded by then? I want to go on a lot of rides! I am so excited. princess: Please, I need an answer.

Tuesday and Wednesday I would agree, maybe some 20 min waits. Although even then some of the rides were much longer (Buzz was 40 min at one point for example). Thursday and Friday however we found much much worse. Some rides were 75-90 minutes long. Even the Pirates line wrapped out in to ropes outside AND out in to the walk ways. With BOTH sides going. I mean you know it's bad when the Pooh ride is super long (was always walk on for us in June). Friday I would say was the worst I've seen it. But then again we'd never go during times where they are known to close the park.
