OK, former WDW CM here. Lots of experience doing those parks on a budget, and I HATE the idea of spending money on completely worthless stuff. I view blowing the vacation budget as a rookie's mistake and pride myself on making relatively frugal choices while still having a great time at WDW.
But enough about my background. Now that we're planning 2 days at UO/IoA, I feel like a total newbie! Please help me stretch my Universal dollar.
So far, I'm leaning heavily toward the Ticketmaster 2-day, 2-park deal (71.36 per adult, $59.65 per child). Any better deals out there for seeing both parks in 2 days?
We're staying at OKW on DVC points, so no FOTL onsite guest access for us -- unless it's worth it to buy it in mid-October. What do you think?
What about the meal deal? WDWinfo's UO/IoA page doesn't recommend it, but what do you experts think? "We" are a big-eater DH, eat-small-things-throughout-the-day DW, and eat-like-a-bird 4-yo DS and 7-yo DD. Would we need to buy 4 sipper cups, or can we share 2 or 3 cups? Given our eating styles, would it be a good deal for all 4 of us? If so, should we do the 2-park option that includes a CityWalk meal?
And on that note, is CityWalk admission included in the Ticketmaster offer?
Thanks in advance for your help!
